The pinnacle of the TH franchise, THUG2 was just silly, American wasteland improved, but we knew things had to change after that with the release of the next gen consoles. Project 8 was.... ok, and proving ground had the makers going "OH SHIT WE GOTTA COMPETE WITH SKATE!".... ride wasn't even worth it, R.I.P Tony Hawks (games, the skater is very much alive) .

i not gonna diss this game, before skate franchise this was the SHIT i played it soo much. i loved skating the pro skater 2 unlockable levels. thug2 was ok but this was best. wasteland just sucked like a hooker. CRAP. the tony hawks just lost it on proving ground. shame skate has finished. no skate 4 is in the works.

Nostalgia. Why is it so fucking depressing? I miss the good old days, even though I play all the new Skate games on my PS3 sometimes I wish we would have never advanced from these times in videogames and videogames like this would still be made. A sport game with a story like it says in the beginning. Damn the new Skate games for not having any funny and cool stories, and I hate the fact that after playing all the Skate games I cant do shit in THUG wich I returned about a year ago. Im an idiot.

Man, I just bought this game today after selling it back in 2005. Man I can play it on my 360 since the 360 lets you play original xbox games. Just playing this game is FUCKING AMAZING.

I remember waiting so long for this game to finally come out, and I wasn't let down. Walking and driving were a breakthrough in the TH series, and with one ov the greatest story-lines ever this will always be my favourite Tony Hawk game.

Awesome stuff! I remember gettin' this on Xmas Day '03 and literally playing it all day!

They should remake this for the next-gen systems, add a bigger world (seriously, Project 8 felt too small after awhile), add back Classic Mode with the best of the TH levels and finally add back all the Create-A features but better with 1000+ options for everything! Oh and XBL Cam/Playstation Eye for the best face-in-game ever!

i thought this was shit, after finishing the game u only got cheats 1 level and a few extra players, and not every pro had a video in cinematics, u got more after finishing tony hawk 2, and in this trailer i gto so frustrated trying to find where u can leap ur car in the level at 2:10 in this vid, u get more ppl when u do the gaps, but still overall its less then what u cud get in other tony hawk games
