  • I'm not associated with the museum at all now, so also not the webmaster there. Of course the engines were removed over a year ago and replacements were supposed to have been secured several times ... but nothing to date. The crew had discovered that even getting dummy engines back on was more involved both time and money wise than had been anticipated. Now there are numerous rumors floating around about the future of the L-1011 there but nothing concrete yet.
