@eternalyintheshadows - If it's about a cause then sure. Just make sure you add "Are you aware" at the end of the video. In annotations if it was uploaded before the date of the contest.

I've been working on a few videos for this since I saw it uploaded, but I haven't found that true bond with my video yet so I'm beginning another one that really hits a soft spot for me. But the reason I'm babbling is I'm curious if it has been decided that the deadline will be extended or not? :) I read that you were thinking about it. ^^

Hello girls! Question; are you allowed to use clips from short films about your topic in the video? I would think no because it's kind of unfair to use well, already edited clips. You know? And I think makes it less creative, but I had to ask :)

@xEternallyDazzled - I'm not sure what you mean by short films. We aren't really limiting what people can use as long as they are able to share a cause that is important to them. It's mainly about getting a message across. But we definitely do want people to be creative at the same time. It will all be evaluated when we judge it in the end. Primary concern though - for people to share a cause. Hope you consider entering sweetie. Let me know if I answered your question :)

First of all, love the song Palindrome. Second of all, this idea is so admirable! Honestly one of the greatest things ever. You guys are seriously compassionate to think of this. I would participate if I had the time between prom, finals, graduation, and moving houses. I'm totally getting back to vidding this summer though. @SparkOfCyanide - As specific as you want it to be. It's basically limitless, just as long as a cause is present. Could range from many different aspects of a certain cause. Overall discrimination works!

What an amazing idea! I have a few causes that I feel real strongly about and this contest is a great way for me to express how I feel while also spreading awareness. :) I'm not entirely sure how comfortable I'd be using real footage so I might use TV shows/movies that follow the same theme.
