@mblkh2o You plug the string with your pick, and also place the tip of your right hand-index finger lightly 12 frets ahead over the note you are actually playing with your left hand. It's a beautiful harmonic sound. If you see my video response I manage to do it --no very well though-- by slapping 12 frets ahead of the note pressed by the left hand, that's another way to accomplish this sound
