This was a riff on the short where a guy wishes all the springs away. He's haunted by a horrible spring sprite which reminds him of his terrible mistake until he's driven to distraction. .after suffering bumps in the road and uncomfortable mattresses, he repents his wish, and all the springs in the world return. It's a cautionary tale.

yes, love it. what's funny is that they didn't actually play that short until the second to last episode (squirm) and so they were riffing something i can't imagine a ton of people knew about.

@corwinlw It was the last season when they aired it. But the Brains wanted to do it earlier but couldn't get the rights until SSN 10.

@shuboy05 In my day, we didn't have any YouTubes or Vimeos or Hulus or Netflixes or baggy pants & we liked it just fine that way. (no, it sucked!) Hard to believe I've been a MSTie since the olden days, but I have been. It's such a great show and even when I've watched an ep a bunch of times I find new jokes, or something pops out at me that I didn't "get" before. Enjoy!
