Bought one these saws. While the saw is kickback free, it seems ackward to hold
and not ergonomic to use. I'm hoping it will be easier to use the more time I spend using it. I have high hopes I did not waste my money but I can't dig up Billy Mays and kick
I've read and watched everything published about the Omni Dual Saw and the Craftsman Twin Cutter,,,, these two products look almost identical but the Craftsman is a bit more powerful and $70.00 cheaper than the Omni. So, not knowing anybody that owns both of them and could tell me for sure which is of better quality I would buy the Craftsman Twin Cutter first,,, wouldn't you??? Besides these two I know of no other saw with two counter-rotating blades,, do you?? Please do tell us if you know!!
My dad bought one of these and he does work with tile, hardwood, laminate, and this saw makes all of this stuff so much easier for him and me when he needs some extra help with some jobs.
I just find a site of user reviews: Everyone who bought it hates it! It has cheap plastic parts that break easily, it gets very hot very quickly, it -does- bind up, & it stops working properly after a bit of light use. Don't believe the hype: There -are- other dual blade saws, with better construction & more powerful motors, for less money, ( Sears' "Craftsman" brand being one).
dude, this came from 12 years of development. how do you think that it will fail? plus it s afirst time product. came out not too long ago. Was the first car as good as now? no. but look at the cars nowadays. they dominate the market. same with this .
Ok, fine, I'll wait until it doesn't suck any more. That doesn't change the fact that right now it -does- suck. I don't know what your 'fail' remark means: Most of the buyer/users of this product claim that it fails mightily. (I take back the Sears comment tho: Apparently, it sucks too.)
ever since this saw the stock market on safes has crashed
