Oh my gosh!! I love this ride sooooooo much!!! Went on it five times, and the fourth time I got to be the rebel spy. :) It was awesome! Anyways, this is like, the best ride ever! Oh, and I have an R2D2 hat like the one in the background in 3:00 xD

I just went yesterday to Hollywood Studios in Orlando and the ride was different. Instead of going to the Hoth system, and flying among the at ats, we went through the Chewbacca's planet, and instead of that thing in the hologram we had Yoda. The rest was exactly the same. Way better than the original.

It looks awesome but how can you go from the hanger to hoth and there be a battle on hoth. Vader is supposed to be on hoth shortley after the rebels retreart and then you go right in the middle of the battle of courscant, which technically, at that certain point of time, anakin hasnt even became vader yet.

The original one had the feel of actual space travel. The whole thing looked real because they used real sets to record the movie. This one... all in cgi which just makes it look like SW BattleFront II with pimped out graphics and 3D... ugh.

This was one of my favourite rides when I went to WDW! I'm usually not this excited to ride star tours but this year was AWESOME!! It was a completely different experience every time we rode it. We only got to ride it twice, but I would have rode it several more times! Oh and a reminder that this is only one of over 45 different sequences that you can experience on this ride. (so I've been told anyway)

So they changed it and made it lamer than the original, typical deal with any sequel that comes out, this makes me so mad. I wish they would have just stayed with the original and made it 3d. That would of been cooler, where was the classic Death Star seen at the end of it!!!! God, this is gonna make me hate this ride now, I see why they did it, but really there was no reason to change a classic like that.

I don't think they should try and change it for the times, it's rides like that that attract people to the parks, if anything just have made it 3d for them, 3po's dialogue is horrible, he wasn't even that bad in the movies, there's no emotion from him when he does have human emotion in the movies. Rex gave it more comedy because it was his first time pilot continued

@EternalDarkness316 I'll agree with you how C-3PO doesn't flow but the rest is amazing. Just curious, have you even rode this yet? If not don't judge it. I thought the 3D was gonna suck then I rode it and I was like "AWESOME!". Yes I'll miss the original because I only got to ride it when I was young. It could be nice if when the build another park after Shang Hai if they put both Star Tours and Star Tours: Th Adventures Continue. The Naboo ending is the best but I'm a big fan of the Clone Wars.

@EternalDarkness316 my thing is, if you're going to change it at least do it the right way, not go for the nostalgia affect of putting old movie scenes in it that don't make sense, they should have done more space battle scenes, and increased the motion of vaders force choke at least I could accept that, but one of the reasons I loved going to MGW was the old Star Tours, not the new one. I'm not knocking the ride, just expressing the disappointment with change.

I just have one question about the new Star Tours? I've gone on I don't know how many time, but doesn't seem like the Starspeeder 1000 can time travel, because in this video you go to "The Battle Of Hoth" (Episode 5), then you go to "The Battle Of Coruscant" (Episode 3). @Iparker5555 Yup. Doc Brown was hired by Star Tours to build in a Flux Capacitor into the Starspeeders. But then in years later for the new Starspeeders (the Starspeeder 3,000), they found it too dangerous to have it Time Travel as they're first Starspeeders, the Starspeeder 1,000. Which is why The Starspeeder 3,000 didn't have the ability to Time Travel.

That has nothing to do with Anakin Skywalker.

And everybody knows that Palpetine is Darth Sidious.

In the chronic, episode 4 takes place about 20-25 years after episode 3.

Maybe the dark side just wanted some sort of "style-change", but its clear that the stormtroopers and clonetroopers are the same in fact.

@N8Trooper Yea they changed the timeline. The first Star Tours took place supposedly after the events of Return of the Jedi, in The Adventures Continue the time plot is set earlier in the film series' timeline, somewhere between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope

I was there on sunday We hit Kashyykk and Corscant the both times I went on.The first wait was 20 minutes and the second wait was an hour and a half ..funny thing is the dhuttle you rode was the one that broke down that caused the long wait
