  • Did they make any 35mm sound projectors?

  • 16mm movie projector? what?

  • @yokylie06 yeh, common in schools and small theater rooms. and in this case aircraft for in flight movies or staff training on the ground.

  • I have a SINGER one like this that's really made by Bell & Howell! It missing only a little part to go on: a spring for the spool driver... and some films!

  • thats so cool!!!

  • I have a Victor 16mm sound projector with PA which is begging to be restored; I need to go through the amplifier which should sound very nice after restoration (it has two 6v6s in the output stage).

  • yeah, both of these need the worm gears replaced so I'll be doing a bit or restoring myself.

The amps in mine are transistor too, I was hoping for tubes but their newer than I thought.

  • Grate find. I would like to see the Sud movie.

  • I'll try and find a way to record them in close with my sisters HD camera and upload them. the RAAF videos are good, showing old footage of the Saber Jets in 1961.

  • very cool. you will have hours of fun with that. isn't that Harrison the dick head with the wobble board. i want to see the GMH vids.

  • the Rolf Harris case had a different smaller spool in it called Bing Crosbey.

they will be fun, its a 100% teardown job to replace the worm gears too!.

  • what a great find I'd keep all them

  • yeah, they both suffer from the dreaded worm gear failure, 2 replacement parts will fix both and I think sombody still makes them!.

  • nice man!
