After listening to this again now, I like it. I think I will feel the same way about Falling Down later on, too. Seems they're always so far ahead in music than I am used to. I like that.
they can never put out a p\bad song IMO. i love them and all their different style. show how diverse and talented they are :D i cant stand when bands stick to one style and sound. all the music just starts sounding the same. so boring.
Everyone has an opinion and can think that only they are right, tha'ts okay. Don't blame one person for a changement of a whole band.
"it's not following the true spirit of the band we all knew a years ago" yes, it's sad when time goes on and we all grow up and have to change, but all bands have the time when their music 'reborns' or changes. Maybe it isn't now for Mucc, but they are moving and we can see it. Who says what kind of music they make in the future? I'm waiting, this is exciting~~ :)
Mucc have been a band so long that they have skills, knowledge and fans enough to try something different every time. Why it's such a big deal? They just don't have to please everyone anymore so they have free hands to do what they want. And they do awesome music. Isn't it enough?
And they who say Ken destroyed their unique style, aren't you listening Tatsu's voice? Isn't it unique? Or how the other guys use their instruments? It IS unique. One new member can't destroy a whole sound of band.
Maaaaaaaan. This sucks. Sure, MUCC isn't afraid to try new styles, but it's results like SHION and this that make me wish they were. I mean, yes, they tried new styles back in the day, but they kept with the hardcore kind of strong vocals and heavy guitar riffs with good bass. This... uses instruments they don't have, and everything is processed as hell.

isn't the reason why we love mucc the fact that they arent afraid to try new styles? i think that is one part that make them unique. now days everything has to be extreme to everyone, otherwise it isnt True or Real... arent they allowed to evolve? at least they are true to themselves and doing what they want to. it is their career, not the fans. as a fan you dont have to like everything... only what is special to you, but oh yeah..i forgot, you arent a true fan if you dont like everything! =_=

I got introduced to them through horizont, and this song is really chill like horizont. they deviate a lot in their music, which is cool, I can't stand listening to the same thing, that being said, I definitely have favourites.

@depechex *sigh* I hear ya. Almost EVERY jrock band is becoming mainstream. The GazettE is changing their label to Sony with their upcoming single shiver and it SOUNDS like it came from sony. Not to mention they are also doing music for some anime show like mucc. I feel like bands like Dir en Grey are doing a better job of staying closer to their core and trying not to become mainstream. There music NEVER becomes mainstream. At least, that how it sounds and feels to me : /

I've been a Mucc fan for years and i don't understand whats all the ranting about.
They sound as they always had.
It would be boring if they did all the time the same stuff over and over. That wouldn't be creativity any more.
And because they are artists ofcourse they try different approach.
