@GroundZ3R0Gamer indeed they are that's why i replaced mine with solid metal bearings. bearings are only for high speed setups and bearing are known for breaking under stress with high fps setups.

@teams2k i just bought a whole new gearbox its alot better than to upgrade dboys cuz my old gearbox i was testing a m120 springs and about 25 shots in the front of my gearbox smashed off

can u put the gearbox back together plz? or just show me where the anti-reversal latch goes..i took apart my gearbox and the only two parts i cant put back together are the anti-reversal latch and the tap it plate. do u have a vid dat shows this or could u recommend a video that shows this thx

is the stock gearbox lipo ready

@RAYRAY1684 any gearbox is lipo ready, this gearbox can shoot with a lipo but it wont last long. i would get a whole new gearbox matrix or kwa replace the piston with a poly piston and get a mosfet, extreme fire mosfet is the top of the line, the mosfet regulates the power the lipo puts out without it can burn the trigger assembly or motor, plus the mosfet has active braking, its when every time you shoot it rhe spring is always decompressed,

I've had a couple of Dboys gearboxes now, and none of them have stood up to more than an M120 without some kind of gear upgrade, even after shimming and replacing the 7mm bushings with metal ones. Keep the FPS under 360 and the gears will be fine, now the motor on the other hand....

@airsoftgirl13 They are only bad if you don't perform maintenance on the internals. A good comparison I've heard is if you want to drive a car at 500mph be prepared to replace the tires and gas. If you want a gearbox that will last longer buy one of their better quality ones, though you will need to perform maintenance eventually it will be alot longer till you need to
