Okay I liked Bros, even tho it wasnt "cool" to like them. I still enjoy their music (thanks I-Tunes!).
I agree with the person who said that 'vocally', Matt Goss runs rings around 'current" artists.. yes he does. I'm a HUGE Robbie Williams fan, however I think Matt has a much better voice. He's also a great song writer too.
rubbish. no wonder they fell flat on their talentless faces once the next big gay thing came along. what was it, boys 2 men or some such crap? meh, who cares, these cookie cutter boy bands all sound the same./ Like shit with pretty haircuts.
I actually went to this concert at Wenbley I was 17 years old at the time. Fantastic night and I still have all my Bros stuff including a piece of the towel Luke Goss threw into the crowd at the end - good times :-)
I love these guys music but the live performance vocaly is shit and muthurfuckin dissapointing,,, lead singer doesnt sound fuck all like he does on the album,, only back up vocals sound in key,, his voice is at least 2 octaves lover than what it sounds on record,, very dissapointing,,,, which means the album was all inhanced up to fuck and the cant reproduce it vocaly live........
kindly and strange band ...they were very nice and lovely musiciens..luke has a very nice voice as an angel .and then as their immagine mans also!sometimes their managers falled in creating a show look .putting them out of real base of their personal music ..in this concert they appear too far from its and on risks to get the singer,,always great ...in opposite of their big sound ...
omg i was there havent seen this footage for years!!i fab day with my cousin sue we went to many bros concerts.i got very sunburnt and it was a fab concert.will be finally meeting matt on 19th october 2010 after years or admiring his talent and wow is he still sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
HOW CUTE ,U WERE & NOW HOW FABULOUS YOU BOTH ARE ! BACK THEN I THINK IN MY ,HOOD, MIDDLE WHITE CLASS SUBURBIA,OF CHI-TOWN!(THOU I'M NOT, IN THE ISLANDS OF HAWAII I'M CALLED A HA-PA-HOULIE!1/2 &1/2) BUT BACK IN THE DAY, I WAS ALREADY A VERY YOUNG WIDOW & IT WAS U LUKE, WHO GOT ME THRU ! LOL! SO THANKS! ALL MY WHITE FRIENDS WERE LIKE WHO?! FUNNY LOOKING BACK & THANK -GOD WECAN!THEY WERE BOWIE & WHO FANS AS WAS I BUT U WERE 1ST!IN MY BOOK ,EXCEPT MY MUSICIAN BFF WHOM I'M STILL W/& 2 DIVA DAUGHTERS!
oh my god, wat a great concert, i was 15...its so sad coz i fainted...lol.....they were the best....i loved growing up with them..thanks for putting this on here..
It's crazy that these two guys had a concert at Wembely Stadium...! It was their top moment and they vanished or at least that's what it seemed from Italy :-)
It must be very hard to face such success and then go back to normal..
This does bring back happy memories, I was 15 then! To thinks that one of those voices is mine! It was a fantastic day, with the lights of Debbie Gibson, Sonia oh and I remember that Salt "n" Pepper couldn't make it ther I was gutted!
I was 12 when I seen them in 1988 in Dublin Ireland, I cant remember it much ,lol, I know I couldent see much of them on stage. At least they sang live, not like preformers now!
im a 32 yr old woman now, but i remeber being 12 yrs old and all i did was sulk because i wasnt near the front at this concert, i remember it well, but i remember me being a spoilt brat more lol
I remember my Sister showing me a picture of bros and i liked them but then i saw there video and i was so hooked i wore the tape out....
bros were soon my focas and i was obsesed with then i would wake up bros sleep bros and i was so bros i was i'll and comatosed by them .
in 1989 my sister died aged 22 when we where watching tvam sister was there next song release i was mouring my sister and bros helped me so much with there song i love bros and want to thank them for making my teens special
bros is a miracle to me.they could heve been much more than that.both of them are good musicians but for someone(s) in the music industry they are a pain in the neck.others with shit music and performance can be on top for ages.they are made to be stars but today who remembers them?take a look at all of matt's lost records and years.thats a shame.dont get me wrong i still adore and love them but some very bad thing should've happened here.
Bros has a some good songs. They had terrible management. Read Matt Goss Biography available on Amazon. Vocally/Musically they were always closer to Michael Jackson then Duran2. If Logan would have remained in the group they probaly would have lasted longer. Thanks for posting this!!
how may that happen that such great band dissapeart????????? i dont understand it. i think theres no more better band then Bros. What a pitty to a music world. Now we have lost everything what was in 80s. We have only memories, Cds, DVDs and im glad i have it.
Bros had two incredible years at the very top of the music world with 8 top ten UK hits and two best-selling albums to their credit, but by 1990 they were on the slide. It was one of the quickest falls from the top ever (and remains so).
i must say, u are right. Its a shame they dissapeart quickly. Shame cos i became a big fan of them. Matt sing now still, but without any success. Luke is acting but i miss them as Bros.
great concert i would go again if they done another one 19 years ago i was there taking my younger sister i would of been 24 years old i too still listern to all their songs
I believe Matt had laryngitis when he did this concert hence the slightly rough sounding voice. I was there and it was chuffing brilliant, I was 17 at the time and a major Bros fan. I had the hair, the 501s, jacket etc and I pulled so many Brosettes being a lookalike...lol, yeah I know...sad! Still listen to them in my car now, I owe you Nothing full blast...Ah I'm back in '88 :)
Matt Goss is a very gifted singer, i think he is very underrated and is much better than the likes of Robbie Williams or Justin Timberlake, however his vocals on this paticular gig are terrible, every other time i seen live footage of him he has been spot on, check out his performance of silent night on going live 1987 or 88 for proof of that
I was at this concert Debbie Gibson was the support act. I'm 36 now and still have all my scrap books full of Matt & Luke. Get them out when i've had a few and throw on my Bros CD! Would be great if the boys had a comeback I'd go to the concert. Wouldn't bother with Craig though as I see him the other day in a mag and he hasn't aged as well as Matt and Luke.
Matt get in touch if you read this would love to hear from you.....yeah right :-)
Its just a shame this concert has never been out to buy ever, i went to the first concert in 1988 but not this one! what a mermory you must have seeing this! yes i remeber Debbie Gibson been support.
Lol so glad I wasn't the only person there!! I also remember that London Boys were stood on stage for about 5 mins before they realised no music. Ahh such great memories!
You are sooo lucky ! i am 35 myself and loved them and Duran Duran !! my favs ever ! Madonna to lol but i was born in the UK and moved to Canada and when i went back it was hugeeeeeeee Bros Mania and i fell in love with them its so awsome seeing these clips they sure were hot lol and i agree with you would be so good to see them have a comeback !! i would make sure to travel for it !
omg me and my cousin went to see them at the scottish exhibition centre in glasgow i must have been about 12 or 13 im 31 now and these videos have brought back some wicked memories except that i was screaming like a crazy kid and had bros jeans t shirt bandana round the neck oh yeah and the grolsch lid on my shoes thank god there were no video phones and my kids will never see it still loved it though thanx so much for posting x x x
OMG...i went to see Bros at the NEC in Birmingham,December 88..i was 13,loved them..one of the best nights of my life :) Matt goss still makes me go weak at the knees lol
This brings back the Best memories ever I was just 15 when I went to this concert.I had such a great time it has made my day watching this i am sitting here now listening with a great big nostalgic Grin on my silly face.Definately one of the best days of my young life ah

extremely talented, extr good-looking, extr rich, extr popular, extr young... flying in heaven, the next minute in hell.
