I remember something like that happened at the beach. My mute brother was underwater diving, and when I bumped his leg, he screamed so loud everyone got out of the water. Man, you know how loud those screams are underwater!!!
I just realized how fake the attack Jaws makes on the girl in the first few minutes of the movie is unrealistic. As far as I know, a shark like the White would dive deep, then begin a slow ascent upward. Once he got to a certain point, he'd rush upward in a powerful, sustained burst of speed (i know, sustained and burst don't mix, but you get my meaning), taking as much of the prey as it can into its jaws.

That is only partialy true, depending on where you live, so is the chance of being attacked by a shark. In Australia, its like a dinner from heaven for sharks, and its worldwide knowed for its several attacks a year.
And yes, sharks have a hard time to distiguish us from other sea creatures, like turtles. But people have the right to be scared of sharks. They made the Jaws movie more or less at the same time that beach was an over-famous vacation spot, so it was a easy way to scare people :P

For the newer generations, this game was based off a series of movies, Jaws (Which was AWESOME!), Jaws 2 (meh), Jaws 3-D (FAIL), and Jaws: The Revenge (EPIC FAIL), and the movies themselves were based on a book. You guys should check them out.
