  • Lee Ritenour on solo guitar!

I'm a great fan of Lee, but I prefer '78 version's guitar sound to this '80 version.

  • Al is one of the best, does anyone know where and if he is performing.

  • @lfcurtis1 There is a website for the group called The Unifics, check it out, Al is cofounder of the group back in the 70;s and is touring regularly now.

  • 1st version better

  • what a legend this guy was. so sweet a melody .

  • Question: Is this the same Al Johnson who used to sing with a group called the Unifics... as in "Up Drove the Hurst Cadilic... a crowd of people all dressed in black..as they removed her body from the car...such pain I never knew ...it was the beginning of my end???

  • Yes, it's the same guy. The Unifics are best remembered for their "Court Of Love" hit on Kapp.

  • @joynpayne Yes, this is he.

  • First class all the way!

  • My Man, great as always. Al is responsible for so many great songs; I learned all I know about music production from watching Al Johnson work. It was a honor to work with him and I truly love this Brother.

    Peace, Larry (Bailey & Bridges)

  • I haven't heard this song in years, this album was a part of my uncle's collection, and this used to get played all the time. This is a very nice one, you can take this one and ride out! Excellent Post Man!
