alex was never in the army... he was in an mental hopsital hence the "nightmare" level at thw beginning, alex' s dad gave him the dog tags n jacket as alex' s dad was ex army

Pyramid head, one of the best monsters, creatures etc ever, really a shame they made his helmet/head into what it is now, i like the one from game nr 2, better. Much more, simple and elegant;P

I don't like that he was in this game. Pyramid is a manifestation of James Sunderland, not SIlent Hill itself. Why do you think it stalks him in the game? They should of never had it in this game or on the movie....

No, that isn't entirely true. He was a figure that headed ceremonies and rituals before they colonized the land, and one of the leaders of the order also dressed like him. Pyramid just acted as the figure of Jame's pain and repressed anger at killing his wife.

Pyramid Head existed in James' psyche not as a literal figure, but as a warped version of something he'd seen before, being the executioners of the order, who wore red pointed hoods. James' mind adapted that into pyramids, thus Pyramid Head. I have to agree with Richardminton25. PH really didn't belong in the movie or Homecoming. You could argue that he's the judge of the guilty, but he originally came from James' sexual frustration and rage.

Either way, Pyramid Head isn't just a part of James.There are several sects to the order, those that followed Dahlia (Silent Hill One), Tony Archbolt (Silent Hill 4, also responsible for the orphanage), and the Valtiel sect (silent hill 3 and Silent Hill 2). The Valtiel sect was responsible for punishment, pain, and sacrifice. Even in the Sacred Texts, it implies that whenever someone that isn't from silent hill

Nails, if you didn't notice from the start having an iron metal block would be painful to wearing all the time. Nothing in silent hill is that easy though so they had to make it more painful.

The Hospital Ending was interesting ... it was like the whole game was a dream, like one of the endings you got in the first Silent Hill.

by looking at the cut scenes i can say they pulled a little bit of the first 3 games and tied it into SH5 weather it be the moment where the mention the cult from SH1 and 3 or the fact that the main character had the same kind of issue that james did and like every SH game it really makes u wonder what ending goes perfect with the story, and 1 thing i didn't get is the saim boss whats that background story
