Great Canadian show. Not just for little kids either...I watched when I was 14 years old with my little brothers and loved it. I especially liked the Wolfman and got a kick out of Igor coming in to dance with him...they always looked like they were having a ball!
For me Grazelda, and the Librarian are my favs...........Doctor Pet vet was cool and the Professor was cool because he was a real life professor.
I heard the entire show was taped over 13 weeks and then the bits and peices were put together to make a whole bunch of shows. For instance they would spend a whole week doing nothing but the WOLFMAN. Or Buwanna Clyde Batty.
Hadn't thought about this show in 30 years and suddenly, about 20 minutes ago, The Wolfman dancing in front of psychedelic stuff popped into my fat old head. Truly awesome stuff and I feel bad that more of my fellow Yanks weren't exposed to it.
I had the EXACT same experience! I'm 40 years old from Buffalo, NY and suddenly I get this vision of The Wolfman dancin to Jumpin Jack Flash ... hadn't thought about it in 30 years too!! Google it and couldn't believe I found it .. like taking a trip back in time ... great Canadian show eh?
this show is on Space on Sundays at 6 AM. They cut out the Wolfman dancing because they can't license the songs though :(
