  • All hail the Funker!!!

  • Terry Funk was actually a good scientific wrestler. I think he kinda sold out with doing more extreme stunts, then cactus jack came along (which has no talent and has this "look what I can do!!" attitude that screams for attention putting his family in tears instead of getting shape and doing "actual" wrestling..)

  • @Philipe0849 But mick was always good on the mic...cut classic ecw promos as cactus and with wwf as mankind. Plus he was always a fan favorite and drew a lot of money...and had balls. Plus everyone whos worked with him has said hes an underrated great worker

  • Anyone have the episode of Quantum Leap with Terry Funk guest starring? Great series made better by who they got to guest star.

  • Are there any vids of a wrestler using the Indian Deathlock?

  • Is that Dory getting the spinning toe hold?

  • Terry Funk = Legend

  • Thanks.

  • THIS IS WRESTLING AT IT'S FINEST

  • It's kind of sad that a lot of people only look at Terry Funk as the "hardcore" guy and overlook his vastly underrated technical wrestling skills.

  • @SadisticScott

Thank you, he was a great wrestler and had good submissions.

  • No Texas crawbar hold?

  • Terry Funk vs Billy Robinson would be a alltime classic!

  • I love how he uses that moonsault after he got old, now that's balls!

  • Why do they call it The Texas Piledriver

  • @styx4ever1963 because a man from Amarillo Texas is administering it!

  • FINALLY somebody makes s "top ten moves of" about terry funk.

  • Please tell me if i'm wrong, but isn't the texas piledriver in this video used on Jumbo Tsuruta!!!

  • Indeed it is.

  • can some one tell me how many times he's retired

  • His piledriver on Sabu during the first ECW barbwire match was awesome too. Looked to hurt so much.

  • Terry Funk is a true legend in the business; I would definitely put him in my Top Ten Wrestlers of all time list. Good work (as always) SD.

  • I believe the armlock you show here is called a short arm scissor. Terry is amazing, always has been. His stuff in Florida was especially fantastic.

  • His career HAS spanned an entire book, "More Than Just Hardcore." It's a MUST read if you are a Terry Funk fan.

  • It truly is one of the best pro wrestling books on the market.

  • 1/4/2010 NJPW in Tokyo Dome

  • Great video. By the way, who was the victim of the fireball in the video?

  • Atsushi Onita

  • @TheSuicidalDragon he also used the stunner

  • the arm lock is a short arm scissor and i'd call that a hanging neckbreaker not a shoulder neckbreaker. i'm so glad u got the ladder helicopter and fireball tho. even tho they not wrestling moves. great vid. love the piledriver.

  • I love T. FunK!

  • as good as he was he still had the wrost moonsalt ever

  • ***** for a brody spot

  • That's how you sell a goddamn piledriver!

  • There's no one like Terry Funk....

  • I'm loving these recent videos, gotta give props to the old schoolers.

  • Shortly after Cavemen discovered fire, Terry Funk discovered how to use it as a weapon

  • Well, actually, The Original Sheik was doing it long before Funk, but oh well.

  • Is there a possibility of a Dudley Boyz or Mick Foley Top Ten?

  • Dudleyz-not likely.

Cactus-slightly more likely. I'd have to dig through and see what kind of footage I've got to use.

  • please SD,Cactus Jack top ten.BANG BANG

  • Oh my. That was an actual fireball. Deadly. And I never knew he did a diving moonsault. And I remember twhen Cody di a Spinning Toe Hold, the audience got excited. And how many retirement did he had?

  • *cringes @ the piledriver*

  • btw who the the person (besides the ref) who recieved the ladder helicopter

  • it looks like sandman but i could be wrong.

  • he looks to large tho. sandman is uber-skinny

i thought it was slaughter but i doubt he wrestled outside the US

  • Sandman and Buh Buh Ray Dudley.

  • wow buh buh? i never thought id c a clip of him on ur channel lolz

  • awesome vid dragon. this man has had a lifelong love of the sport

im guessing a vid of his brother will also be posted?

  • good vid

  • I hope I'm as tough as the Funker still at that age.

  • You can't get tougher than TF

  • Merry Christmas, SD!

I happen to watch "Beyond the Mat" the other day, and to think that Funk would wrestle at his age with an all but destroyed right knee. Crazy!

  • awesome fireball!!!

  • I have so much respect for this man, it's not even funny! I really want to meet him and tell him that!

    By the way.....Merry Christmas Dragon!!!

  • And to you as well.

  • came out of retirement in 1985? Maybe late 1984. He wrestled with Dory against Brody & Hansen in December '84 in what was a 5 star match by Dave Meltzer.

  • If Foley is the hardcore legend funk is the hardcore GOD!

  • THE FUNKER! Dam 65 and still goin strong! i'm looking forward to seeing him at the January 4th dome show xD

  • greatest of all time

  • He's Still DA MAN! :D

  • FUNKER!

  • The king of hardcore

  • The great technician Terry Funk is better than the hardcore Terry Funk! His Spinning Toe Hold is awesome!

  • That crazy funker is still wrestling

  • Ah, so the Texas Piledriver is the Pulling Piledriver that Foley uses from time to time.

Oh, and he also can do Yoga Flame.

  • His Moonsault sucks but it's not exactly easy to do so I give credit to a manof his Build doing it.

Funk along with Sting are my favourite Old School Wrestlers.

  • first comment :D awesome video this guy defines extreme
