  • Just get a 5.9, add a boost box and destroy your injectors like everyone else. So much easier than removing all the DPF stuff....well maybe not necessarily easier but cheaper.

  • I'm just glad my 2001 didn't have that crap cause went to a muffler shop an just cut out my muffler an resonator an put a 3in pipe there. no emission checks here!

  • Why don't people just take the removed DPF and put a straight pipe through it? Then when the cops pull your over you can say "Yeah I got a DPF" because its still under their the cops just aren't going to tare it apart to make sure, as long as its their they don't give a fuck.

  • H&S xrt is the best

  • ya these guys are a bunch of fucktards first cant remove it now o take it off lol fucking dumb ass mines been through 5'' turbo back sense like 5k miles

  • Why?

  • wow diesels are getting worse than gas cars and trucks

  • @F4izzle so true!!!! damn government doesn't want anybody having to much fun! This dpf crap is no different then when they started choking off all the gas engines with all the emissions and adding catalytic converters on cars back in 1975.

  • @1978mtb You need to go to Indonesia or some country over there that doesn't have emissions regulations. Look at the grey sky over the city. Go to any street corner and breathe the air. Observe the traffic cops at the intersections who have to wear masks. Is that the air quality you want for America?

  • @dieseldog0 ahhh who cares about idonesia??? we have the right to have some fun with are toys. BLACK SMOKE BABY

  • @1978mtb Are toys? What does that mean are toys? You don't have a "right" to pollute the air any more. Better get used to more government regulations and oversight.

  • @dieseldog00 I say this for everybody on here. You Sir Can Go Fuck Your Happy Tree Hugging Self. There's enough Niggers in this world we can spare a few of their jiggaboo asses over there to die a hopefully slow and painful death.

  • @bleeding5th RACIST FILTH

  • @dieseldog00 Racist filth is whats going to rape your family, your children, and your wife, tear your face off with the back wheel of a cummins rolling coal and put you all in a neo natzi concentration camp until you all commit suicide with a dull butter knife. How about you nut the fuck up and at least pretend to be a man you California faggot.

  • you know it is a lot cheaper to just by a dpf delete kit and do it yourself, you can find them on ebay or if you look hard enough for 400 bucks, and a muffler delete pipe for 50, and knock out the cat in the down pipe, so it will be a strait pipe for 450 bucks, and that also includes the awesome sound out the tailpipe too XD

  • about how much did this cost please

  • i installed mine today and it was $750

  • IS that a dealership guy doing that?

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!! Much better than that terrible one you made before, stating how you can't remove your DPF, which we all knew was a load of bull. These DPF delete kits should be selling like hotcakes! Why not post the MFGR's name of the kit, so the backyard mechanics and all the DIY'ers out there can just install the kit themselves? Oh, because you are a shop, trying to drum up business - hey that's cool... Not to worry, we'll find it ourselves.

  • Hey superturbodiesel it's Gotta feed them horses from dodgeforum with the v10. I had a dream about getting a diesel truck last night and now I'm obsessed, lol. I found a 97 2500 with a blown 5.9 with just 200,000 miles on it that I might get to rebuild, it's a pretty sweet truck

  • Ok, there are two choices.

You can keep the warranty, but you have to go to the dealer once a every month, get awful MPG, reduce power, and generally a poor running truck.

Or, spend $800 on the DPR-R, disconnect the EGR, and have a happy truck. IF you have to take the truck in to get emissions, remove the DPF-R, put the DPF back on, reconnect the EPG, and no one the wiser.

    The choice is yours.

  • If the truck is intended for off road use only and the customer signed a waiver, stating the truck is for 'off road use only'; either the manufacture, the dealer, the shop, nor the tech can be held liable.

If used on the street, the customer can be held for fraud, not for removing the emission devices, but for making a false statement in a business transaction.

Lastly, it up to the state to enforce the emission laws, not the owner of the truck.

    Know your rights!

  • It doesn't void the warranty from Cummins.

  • @zytekfan

It most certainly does void the warranty.

  • Alright Back up here you post a video saying oh my god dont remove the dpf or else your truck will blow up and we will all die. and then you post one showing how to remove it WTF

  • Comment removed

  • LEAVING THEM ON SHOULD BE FINE.

  • @carladysarahlee Lemon lawed my 07 dodge 6.7 because of this problem, had 22 service calls in one year, they changed turbos, exhaust manifolds, EGR valves (several) sent me a video on how to drive my truck. They initiated buyback proceedings because every service call was costing them $800 to $3000 so it was cheaper for them. Loved the truck though, would love to have it back minus the problems.

  • What kind of kit is that H&S?

  • what kit is that badp or h&s

  • What is the "R" in DPF-R?

  • The "r" stands for remove.

  • do you have this for a o8 chev diesel?

  • No codes are "reset". The module emulates the vehicle as if the system was still there. Watch for more info from the engineer of the system.

  • @carladysarahlee So this thing will fool the equipment at the state inspection shops, like in California?

  • What DTC's were set by adding this system?

  • Nice, you have a "do not remove DPF" video and a DPF-R video, delete video? Make up your mind lady!

  • HA. I appreciate your comment. I am just trying to provide the myriad of unhappy Cummins owners with another perspective.

  • That's cool. Everyone is removing that DPF nonsense. Most people get the Edge or PMT to just clear codes on start up. I've read of a few doing the DPF-R and they like it.

  • arent you the same person that raged on about not removing the dpf?

  • Hi, Not raging, just providing an objective review from the factory OEm side, and now that I found a company willing to stand by their product for independant testing, I'm providing a similarly unbiased video; point counterpoint.
