Those "easier" normal modes are making me mad. Then again, I guess playing Hard Mode constantly really fucks it up. Ah well, it'll be a quick playthrough the first time, and I'll fuck up on purpose every now and then to take the edge off. I hope to God hard mode in the two remakes is hard as hell.

you need to beat each game to unlock its hard mode, be it the GC or Wii versions.

i've played them contless times and know it very well.

actually, the dark suit isn't a needed item. you can go the whole game without it. you just need a lot of energy tanks if you are going to survive without it. But if people have a hard time with bosses like Quadraxis, Boost Guardian or Emperor Ing, it will be a challenge...

the game assumes you did it when you bring the sanctuary energy and gives you the light suit.

actually, i used a ghetto jump to reach the portal in abandoned base and with that you can go to torvus just after getting the light beam.
