1.) The SOBs existed 2 years before the Union was even announced. 3 before our inaugural season. We made trips to other teams' matches when we didn't have our own club, solely to give their supporters shit. Most of the songs we have are, thus, anti-Red Bulls New York songs.
2.) Try getting 2,000 people (our supporters section) to sing complex songs when the vast majority of them joined only a few months ago. It's not easy.
3.) This is a short clip of some really shitty chants. I don't know why these were picked.
4.) It was a friendly. Believe it or not, many, many SOBs are Celtic fans. We're not going to be throwing up very anti-Celtic chants. Some of us almost got into it with a kid in a Chelsea kit spouting anti-IRA shit before he ran away.
So basically, if you want to judge our supporters group, bear in mind how short we've been around, and that this is a fucking miserable example. Look up other shit by us. And watch the Red Bulls/Union game in October.
I mean, we do a certain number so loudly (crystal clear on the TV) that MLS itself is trying to get our FO to make us stop. Look up "You suck asshole" on here.
