@MurderByFluoride Front JK Mopar d44 with the rubicon e-locker on it costs ya about 3k, as for the install if your able to do a lift yourself you should be able to bolt the d44 on with no trouble.
I really wouldn't call that hung up, but in some situations a 2 door is better, but the difference is very minimal. On some trails we have run, the longer wheelbase of the 4 door provides alot more stability then that of our 2 door jeepers.
The sahara 4x4(Mall Crawler) is the loaded with power windows and painted fenders some have lockers some don't . The Rubicon 4x4 is loaded with all the goods, power windows, electronic front sway bar disconnect, front and rear dana 44 axles with front and rear lockers. It also have a 4:1 climbing ratio in 4lo. The rubicon is for the hardcore. If I remember correctly all the guys but me had rubicons in this video.
How is the leg room in the Unlimited vs the 2-door? I'm 6'5" and have always loved wranglers, but have been forced to avoid them due to insufficient leg & head room, but seeing the newer (2008/2009) JKs on the road and on YouTube seems to suggest they're more roomy. If I can't fit comfortably in a 2-door, maybe I can in an Unlimited.
Well I would say a JK Rubicon if you can afford it. The JK's get allot more flex stock then a TJ, plus with the JK Rubi you get the electronic front disconnecting sway bar which is really nice. Both the TJ and JK you get front and rear locking diffs.

I blew up my old d35 on the last hill. We where forced to do a field repair. It was some crazy shit. We didint leave the hill till 3 in the morning.
wetpuet 1 year ago
@wetpuet Ya, all the guys that attempted that hill had D44's front and rear. Me with my D35 front and D44 rear decided to take the easy route :)

I see a lot more ppl with the 07 Rubicon, would there be any difference between those and 09 or 10 models? Or are they all the same and good overall?
bluesmangil 2 years ago
Same overall, in fact I cant think of any change between the 07's and 09-10's.

@TheAlaskaxj which one?

The 4 door unlimited are nice but you loose some jeep capability. For example at 1:12sec two door jeep would not have got hung up their.

Are the 4 door jeeps more stable when climbing due to the extra length?
roadrash17 2 years ago
The longer wheel base helps in allot of areas but it can hurt to. But all in all ya the 4 doors are more stable IMHO.
