There will never be another voice like Bro. Ewing to me his voice comes from the experience he has with God maybe this is what the voice of God sounds like I wonder.........

Joan told my sister many years ago they were the ugliest couple in Pentecost. I beg to differ - they have the sweetest spirit, humble, yet both so talented. Their singing has lifted me so many times when I at the bottom and couldn't see any hope. May God continue to bless them - we need more of their music today!

This is the old depth of worship we once had in the Pentecostal church. You can see Sis Joan in the background. These two led the music department when we had real depth and worship in our services. If our church people do not hear this kind of music, it will soon be lost when those really talented people are gone.
Pentecostal churches without this deep moving of the Holy Ghost are only a shadow of what we once were, when the moving of the Spirit was the absolute most important thing.

I have been in the Apostolic faith my whole life and have spent most of it watching the Ewings and others like him. Whenever he gets up to sing I just start crying. He has such annointing that he could sing the phonebook and I would cry.
When I was a child my mother would listen to his records and what peace it brought to my turbulent childhood. In my opinion, there is nothing better than listening to Murrell Ewing. Thank you Murrell and Joan for letting God use you so mightly.
have been out of church 4 a while & waz watching this when 1 of my backslidden boys came n & i waz just bawling. the ironic thing is...yrs ago bro ewing waz @ after easter feast n dayton & sang "beyond the gate" & my son just loved that song when he sang it. told my son didn't know how he could stand being out that it's eating me up & he teared up & left the room....oh God please restore my family, me & 2 of my backslidden boys!
plperrine, I was a part of the lighthouse for 28 years. I was there at the feast and took part in them. Pastor Shearer was an awesome man of God. I am currently outreach director at the Apostolics of Xenia and would love to help you find your way back to God.
@1960mlp thank you so much. Have been back for a little over 2 yrs & sing in our church "praise team" & being used some in playing the piano on Sunday morning services. I've been healed in miraculous ways in so many areas in my life! I'm still expecting God to bring back & restore my 2 sons!!!! thx again
