We are sorry about the mistake. I was reviewing a probe just before your car and wrote that for your car instead of ZX2. I feel really bad for this mistake and I promise that will not happen again. Your ZX2 is still a great car and please review the email we send to you but please don’t look at the probe part. Sorry again for the mistake.
All these people come in hear and complain of how it looks and sounds. who is really the ricer?? hun? the one who think looks and sound is every thing or someone who wants a performance exhaust that adds noticable gains? btw a stock s2k would give a stock gt stang a run for its money
Okay seriously you guys...I wasn't hating on hondas, they can sound good, but if this sounds good then I'm gunna go buy an ebay fartcan exhaust tomorrow. It's bubbly and raspy and I guess you may like that(ew) but you can't deny it. It sounds okay at high rpms so I was saying with a resonator and maybe a test pipe (as euro944t suggested) it could sound deeper and fuller instead of bubbly.
hi, im in love with the sound of your car with the 60RS, but everyone keeps telling me to go with the 70RS sice i already have a 60mm very noisy T1R V1, sounds nice when driving hard , but is unbearable when cruising.
my question is, does this exhaust ever drown?
have you heared the 70RS? if so, how does it compare noisy level wise to the 60RS?
my main objective here is to buy an exhaust that has no drown, but sounds sweet in VTEC
UM NO , ap1 is 99-03 ap2 is 04-08 (i think the cr is an ap1 engine) and after 03 they soften up the chassis and suspension then soften some more and added a clutch delay (holds back a second after you let out on clutch ) IN 06 the 02 AND 03 ARE THE BEST ONES FOR RACING THE AP2 ALL HAVE UNDERSTEER, OVER STEER IS WHAT YOU WANT WITH A STIFF CHASSIS

fuck yes, anything with single fat 5'' will push out as much as the lil import can handle. its like steroids for cars, but without being NOS. lol. i think the spoon engine for the s2000 would be better suited with individual throttle bodies though...
j's racing is not a knock-off company. they know their shit and have time-attack times to prove their worth. your the ricer for not knowing a real tuner you probly think that apc really tune their shit.
@driftkids13 their parts are over priced though and alot of these companys are owned by the big one that uses price fixing for the goldie locks effect and make millions from it.
singles make more power to the motor for I-4 motors. anything that has a V6 or up motor uses dual to make power. but I-4 only needs single to make power, if u use dual u lose power because u fuck upt he airflow and too much air is escaping.
quick question , if dual is actually slower.. why do you see true sport exotic cars with dual exhausts almost always.. why dont they make sports cars with single exhaust? just a question im not sure about..
Cause they benefit from true-duals since they're V-12's and such. I don't know what to think of this little war going on here about which is best for a I-4... Seriously, what happens after the headers of a I-4? Oh, that's right, it goes into one pipe. Dualing a I-4 just weakens the sound and adds unnesessary weight.
mostly for aesthetic purposes.. you really don't lose that much power from putting on duals as opposed to singles.. depends on how high your compression is to push the exhaust gas out and not creating a lot of back pressure from the second exhaust..
tbhotrod, i'm sorry for that ignorant comment, but I don't remember saying such thing to offend you, I apologize if someone else must have used my computer in the last couple of months, I apologize again, i only found out about this cause I got an e-mail about it.
fyi the s2000 is one of my favorite cars as far as sports cars go and i know alot more than you think, and i mean alot more i made a simple mistake oh well and this is my opinion dual looks better.
no you dont get more power you dumbass... its a either 2 litre or 2.2 litre s2000. 4cyl, they have perfectly tuned back preassure made for the largest amount of power.. less back preassure, less horsepower.. shut tha fuck up.. people lie you make me mad. think you know everything... fagget. dual = waaay less back preassure, single exit = more back rpeassure. go do somethin smart and look up tha dyno sheets
Thats really an incorrect way to look at it... if the car was turbo you would want no back pressure. You want to find the ideal amount of back pressure for which rpm you plan to remain at. turbo better to have none n/a you want to have a little bit.
Db level?

This exhaust may make good power but it sounds uber rice-y. Needs a resonator or something. Its sounds...very metallic and buzzy.

Need test pipe and headers.

what is the risk with having a turbo set to kick in at 2,000 rpm?
fd3slover 4 years ago
you cant just set a turbo spool at will, only small turbos spool that soon (2k rpm) by the time you reached 4k rpm its already maxed out.

For performance: Single > Dual
For look: Dual > Single
But performance is a fact, look is subjective.

wow. 5"? you're a ricer.
ever heard of back pressure? yeah, i thought not.
cmowry9 4 years ago 2
5" single on NA cars, is not a good idea.
thats why you see MK4 owners with Huge tips, because of the turbos. ie 2jz's. or moderate size duel exhaust, like the Rb25-26 set up.
anyway exhausts are measured by "mm" and not by inches. :)
DRIFTR 4 years ago
@cmowry9 Ever heard of flow rate? yeah, i thought not. backpressure is not what you want in an exhaust.
