I'm pretty sure the reason I hated Patch Adams was the snuggly, too-smarmy way Robin Williams would correct people when they called his character by his real name. The way he'd say "Patch" just grossed me out and was a microcosm of why the whole movie sucked.

Is it bad that whenever Beverly Hills Chihuahua is on I can't help but watch? I've never seen it from beginning to end, but I love dogs and the mouth animation is quite nice.

I did know I hated Raja Gosnell, who also directed Scooby Doo and (worst of all by far) Home Alone 3.
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Liar Liar are generally considered comedy classics and I liked them a lot, so I don't really know what that last guy's talking about at all.

@ChamberOfAvici I gotta agree I like all of those movies as well as Patch Adams. My only concern is as I age I increasingly find more and more movies from my youth that I cannot stand to watch, which I assume has to do with maturity, and I fear if I watch these again I might find them not interesting.

@Reishyn Do some research idiot. Dr Hunter Patch Adams loved the movie, he was only sad that it didn't raise enough money to build a 40-bed hospital on 310 acres of land in Pocohontas County, West Virginia. He liked the movie and especially Robin William's performance.

So the last one didn't make sense to me. The director launches Jim Careys career, makes two more successful movies with him, and makes patch Adams which is a good movie... You hate him why?
