@ThePifstar you should understand that while boys get circumcised everyday, the procedure is well documented and studied , and it is done my doctors and professionals. Female circumcision on the other hand is performed without any proper sanitation, and it has no health benefit whatsoever. It posts more risks and the pain must be unbearable for a child. (think sewing. 'nuff said)

Also, the movie is not plainly about circumcision. It aims to educate, and maybe you can get something from it too.

They do help, I've seen many good british men and women/hundreds of organization set up to help citizens in need, shelters, free help and food for those who can't afford.

They're hundreds if not thousands of foreigners who are left to die in the streets or are send back to their countries despite in danger of dying there.

Let's just hope they're more good people out there ready and helping.

@backtublive It's a lot more dangerous for the women. The risk for infection is a lot higher. And it makes having sex and giving birth very painful....FOR LIFE. Typically FGM is not done for religious reasons or right of passage like being circumcized for males. It's a way to control them.
