  • I think the music video for all is full of love is the most amazing video ever.

  • I love her use of guttural sounds to describe what she means its surprisingly effective but hilarious

  • 4:01 "moo-niters" lol

  • I wish there was one of these for every Bjork video! I'd love to know where the inspiration and ideas came for all of the concepts!

  • Her voice annoys me.

  • watch her fingers when she says erotic! LMFAO

  • lol...I'm pretty sure the editors didn't notice that...

  • I read somewhere that the real meaning behind the video was pretty dark. If you see some scenes you'll notice that they're in reverse. So, if you look at the whole video in reverse, the two robots are actually being separated and put-down because of "love". The obvious meaning that people take,i.e., two robots making love, is a bit too simplistic.

  • I looked the clip after reading your post. and I think you are right. although you call it "simplistic" your point of view quite spoils it(no offence)

but it makes it far more harder to understand the clip.

but still respect for finding this out:)

  • interesting, although I think that's reading into it a little too seriously. It is a simplistic song with a simplistic meaning, that's all.

  • Any video can be read into seriously. I think rakshan has a very clever implicit idea there.

  • do you have source to this info?

  • @rakshan that is really interesting

  • @BlancType6

yes, i thought that twist was really interesting, also noting that it is two female robots being depicted. This video depicts a sort of emotional sentience among bots (way beyond artificial intelligence). Parts of the video are clearly in reverse (liquid rising up etc) and the director made no effort to hide this fact. Liquid makes it quite obvious.

This twist does spoil the "happy love" tone of the video, but depicts that a dark side exists parallel to the reality we perceive.

  • @rakshan That's a nice theory, but no. The lyrical content is pretty clear.

  • @madsketcher

Its not the lyrical content. Its the visualization. Chris Cunningham's videos have a dark undertone. Look at his other work.

  • @rakshan Yes, you could say it has a dark tone to it but I highly doubt that there is some pessimistic, Joy Divisionesque underlying message about love within the video. I think a lot of people forget that art is often very anti-intellectual, and they put their own spin on what they see. But that's also part of what art is here for - reflecting. Chris was just following Bjork's visual ideas - these aren't really intellectual exercises. But I see what you are saying.

  • hmm.. she looks kinda like Annette Ozlen here.

  • the interview was when she was recoreded the video? or more later, in the record of médulla? her hair style is the same of the medulla stage..

  • she is icelandic, and very cool, and her music too, seen her in Amsterdam on 8 juli 2007, it was very very nice !!! greets from a BIG FAN !

  • Amazing video and song, she is an alien not a human being cool. He also did Madonna's Frozen clip

  • well i think the vids gr8. and i really like this version. which does she perform live?

  • Great post thanks, this song/video is beautiful

  • I love her hair, and her hand gesture for erotic. Heh heh. She's incredible.

  • hehe i caught that, shes gr8

  • like..like like a rock or something.. yea.. like like.. yea.. lol

  • She"s so weird and cool. :)

  • Very interesting to see. I usually don´t like computer-generated-animation but this is awesome, I don´t see that it´s done by a puter!

  • I want one of those robots.

  • Hm, it is a beautiful song. But I still try to get it together with that robots-video. They kind of scare me! ....but that definitely hasn't been the intention. I guess for that song I would have thought of something different. Hm.... ;/

  • it's not aphex twin, it's chris cunningham.

  • How did this video do on MTV?

  • Shut up with the chain letter crap.

  • Why do we have to over-ANALyze everything? Just enjoy the damn song and video!

  • The robots were real. The face was real. Freaking...

    Holy crap.

  • i know i was like HOLY FREAKIN SHIT AWESOME

  • I don't really like the video either, but she asks for white things with a hard surface. And those robots fit pretty good into that description.

  • I agree with jonin , althought peas have some good points.

  • chris and bjork make a great team

  • I would have to disagree with Peasandpeas' comment and say that Robots are infact the appropriate objects. Because robots are hard, sterile, clean, logical and in control. Love is just the opposite, soft, messy, illogical and uncontrollable - seeing Robots in the act of 'love making' just makes the espression just that much stronger...

  • exactly

  • Heh , i think the video is fine , but oh well

  • CHRIS CUNNINGHAM FUCKED UP THE VIDEOOOOOOOO!! She should've gotten another director. Robots?!?! That isn't soft enough for the atmosphere of the song and what she described!!

  • Robots were perfect. Robots are innocent, efficient, and logical--like love. They were the perfect embodiment of it; the perfect representation of sexual love brought down to its bare essentials. I seriously think that neither Björk nor the director explicitly intended it that way, but that's the way it happened, so they must have implicitly expected it to be like that. And in response to "That isn't soft enough," I say this: The video is about love. Love isn't soft.

  • wow

  • lollll!

  • eww dude...no richard thats not right

  • Sweet.

  • thank you

  • interesting
