Does anyone have the movie and can upload it? I tried getting it from the library and they dont' have it, and I dont' have the money to buy it! anyone?
i like this movie i was once in her place sorta i was littler and it was a little bit of a different scenario but we have this movie at our house and i like to watch it every now and then!!!
It's sad that some kids AND adults in other parts of the world live like this and only wish they would never wake up only to relive the same day over and over again. It's still shit just different piles their in everyday.
Wow relax with you ANTIdownload talk. Personal I won't by a movie if I haven't seen it.... And trust me I bought a lot of DVD which I downloaded at first!.
But Really sometimes the DVD producer ask for get their movies downloaded... I have respect to Scanbox, but a lot of others producers I hate them for 1 reason; their stupid area codes.
Because of that my change to get that movie legal is very small, cause if I'm the only one in my city who want the movie, why would the shop ship it home?
How about buying the DVD? It's not that expensive - especially on eBay or send hand on Amazon. Moreover, it aso means that more movies like this can/will be produced. Not to mention that it raises Jena's profile with producers to get more good roles.
Do steal you your food, clothes, computer hardware, etc. like a criminal thug as well or do you actually buy them (or at least have someone to pay them for you) like a normal customer?!?!
Okay let's make it simple enough for you (and those like you) to understand:
If nobody is willing like you to pay for the films and rather prefers to steal them (And nothing else is free downloading!!), why should producers invest the required 5-10 million (that's what an film production in terms of equipment, cast & crew cost) to make the film, when they are left with costs??? In short, if nobody pays for watching the films, they won't be made anymore in the future. Very simple!
And don't come with the stupid old fairytales that a) DVD are so expensive, while the raw DVD costs just a few cents, and b) the studios earn already enough.
To a) have a look in store (even Amazon)and you see that DVDs are quite cheap these days! Furthermore, the DVD is just a package; what you buy is the film and that's what costs. Have a look at the credits - all those people need to be paid and most of them don't earn more 20-40 thousand dollars for nearly a year's work...
To b) Yes, the major studios make a lot of money in revenue terms, but the also invest a lot for up 3-4 years in advance before any return, which means the profits are by far less than the reported returns. Out of every 10 movies released, only 3 break even at the box office, of which only 1 makes a profit. The real income comes from DVD sales & legal paid-for downloads, which are damaged by free downloaders like you to the extent that new film projects are in serious danger of being cancelled
I don't see how buying it secondhand or used on ebay means more movies like this would be produced.. you are buying in from other person, not from the makers.
@crazypoundpupp@crazypoundpupp This is indeed a paradox! It has to do with how sales figures (and ratings) are calculated. 2nd hand sales on Amazon or eBay are counted as sales volume together with sales at major retailers and legal downloads at iTunes, while everything else is ignored. Based on sales volume, credits are allocated to actors, directors, producers, etc. to assess their box office value.
@crazypoundpupp ....The calculated box office value determines then a director's or producer's ability to obtain finance for their new projects, or for an actor/actress to be considered for a particular role in a new film or at least to be invited by the producers to audition for it...
How often we hear or read stories about child stars from comedy sit-coms and such ending up as alcoholics and/or druggies and/or already dead by the time they're 30 or younger; and yet, despite her troubling character roles, I somehow think Jena going to be ok.
What a sweet film. Pretty music in the opening credits by John Morris (The Elephant Man)

Could you upload the movie? It's my favorite. I used to have it recorded on tape but my mom taped over it. It used to make me feel not so alone.
