I didn't like this album all that much...I mean it wasn't bad, still loads better than 99% of the shit that comes out nowadays, but this song is pretty good. One of the few i really liked on the CD

Yea, I had only heard a couple of songs from the new cd and thought there not so bad. Then I went to see them live in Kansas City, now I play this cd once a week. I have been a follower of this band for a long time and this cd kicks ass! There has been a lot of bands who have lost members and they still jam. A lot of famous bands ACDC, METALLICA, LED ZEPPLEN THE LIST GOES ON AND ON!

if anything, the lose of layne shows how integral to aic jerry is/was...he wrote pretty much all of the songs and sings on alot of them too....layne was amazing....but he was not what made the bands sound...his voice just sounded good with the music, and with jerry's backup singing underlying it

@ogunonjo Exactly. Layne was a good singer but if it was jerry that passed on, either AiC wouldn't be here or it would be completely different. Because of Jerry, the style is still here and you are right, this shows how important Jerry is to the band since he writes most of the songs. However, I really like the new guy in this band, his voice is really awesome and can hold a melody like no other and still his voice stays with the roots of what Alice in Chains is when it comes to vocals.

Hell yeah. This song is way bad. So is private hell. Those two songs kill anything and everything out there today. Besides new nine inch nails, those guys keep it real. New nirvana is supposed to drop, its called aberdeen wastoids. It's a pretty catchy album.

jerry grew up in my area and went to the same high school as me... a lot of people know them around here.. i heard through a reliable source that they have a lot of it completed already, its just timing for the most part that will dictate when they release it... after their tour, expect it to drop sometime after that.. hopefully sooner than later! its the baddest thing ive ever heard tho.. eats jar of flies alive no joke..
