It seems most, if not all Central powers were on the winning side in 1918.. An armstice could be called between nations, and perhaps WW2 could be avoided, but USA inexplicably entered the war and urged all central powers to surrender...

World War 1 was lost the because of rebelions in the Central Powers. Otherwise this video is inaccurate. First Southen Dobrudza was in Romania after 1913, second Greece joined the war in 1916 and Romania in 1917.
it's pretty normal ottoman empire was getting attacked by greek , great britain,russia,france and even australia,(mostly great britain), you can't really call ottoman's loser cause they had to fight in gallipoli whitout shoes against great britain and australia, both side had about 60% of all soldier wounded or dead during gallipoli campaign.this was probably one of thy only battle that ottoman's won.

wrong Rumania was not conquered we held the line at Marasti Marasesti and Oituz passes they could not reach Iasi and after the offensive in the west we pushed back the Germanic and Autro-Hungarian forces.We didn't lost many troops we just retreated back to a strategic position.And the central powers did not conquered so many land from the russians cause they had a larg number of soldiers deployed..even with that treaty.And after that offensive in the west we pushed the Autro -Hungarians...

Austria-Hungary was once a nation from late 1800's until WWI (controlled by Germany under Centrral powers, but split by WWII Austria was under allied control, but Hungary was once a Communist Eastern Block nation. both are now autonomous.

Great Britain did include Ireland at that time, and yes the Portuguese border has not changed in a long time, since the reconquista to be exact.

Romania was never occupied entirely by the German - Austrohungarian army.
It was in a critical situation after the fall of the capital city, but the romanian army withdraw to Moldova and established a new defensive front line: Galati - Namoloasa - Focsani (the Iron Triangle) , where they successfully stopped the invasion and pushed back Mackensen and the German / Austrohungarian army, without the help of Russia which at the time was allready out of war. There's considerable dispute over a German surrender in WWI. Technically, Germany did NOT surrender. Rather, after a treaty with the new Soviet Union in 1918 (Brest-Litovsk) she agreed to an Armistice on 11/11/18 due to national exhaustion. But no Allied army held German territory prior to that point. The official end of WWI occured in 1919; the punitive terms to Germany so unjust that the seeds of WWII were sown then.
Germany's armies returned with their weapons to a triumphant welcome.

They've surrendered because they knew they couldnt win. Neither could the Allies. But a German "Partei" called SPD declared the first that Germany would surrender and that the Kaiser is no longer the head of the Staate.
Well after that the Allies made a treaty (Versailler Vertrag) in which Germany was the only one who started the war wich wasn't true. (Look it up). The treaty was very unfair for Germany and was also the seed for the 2. World War

I also think that German got some of the best disciplined soldiers , but the Schlieffen plan wasn't as good as you think because it has been made on the exemple of the franco-prussian war , it didn't take in count that Clémenceau learned the lesson of the defeat , and had many errors too , such as the invasion of belgium , the plan says 1 weeks while it took 3 weeks giving the time to the french to come back and defend Paris ( battle of the marne ) .

Well the prussian provocated the french , they knew thay would declare war and walk on prussia straight to the east , the prussian surrended them and totally destroyed them , the Schlieffen plan was made on that idea too , let the french attack while Germany was passing through Belgium and surrend them again , but as i said i took 3 weeks instead of 1 giving the time to french to come back because of course French were on the Franco-german border as the german thought .

No no the schlieffen plan was based on the speed of the maneuver ,German knew that britain would enter in war with germany if they cross the belgium borders , french were at the german borders but not for attacking but to defend , the schlieffen plan was based on the maneuver in belgium 1 week to reach France and make them surrender which will make UK surrender too , but it took them 3 weeks which gave time to french to come back and ush them back .

For me the first battle of the marne was the real begining of the war between France and Germany , Britain sent their full army in 1916 , the german thought that their plan was perfect , the kaiser himself came to see the defeat of France during the battle of the marne , but at the end when the german general Molkte met the Kaiser to tell him the news , he said that " Kaiser the war is lost " lol

But what it is funny is that it didn't work during WW1 but perectly worked during WW2 , the yellow plan was mainly inspired by the Schlieffen plan lol . But it's worked because most of general were old and crazy , if De Gaulle was General during that time i'm pretty sure it would have ended differently , not by a crushing defeat anyway ,because De gaulle actually fought brilliantly , destroyed 2 panzer division with his old tank division lol

World War 1 was lost the because of rebelions in the Central Powers. Otherwise this video is inaccurate. First Southen Dobrudza was in Romania after 1913, second Greece joined the war in 1916 and Romania in 1917.

it's pretty normal ottoman empire was getting attacked by greek , great britain,russia,france and even australia,(mostly great britain), you can't really call ottoman's loser cause they had to fight in gallipoli whitout shoes against great britain and australia, both side had about 60% of all soldier wounded or dead during gallipoli campaign.this was probably one of thy only battle that ottoman's won.
