  • @TheCoon389 (family for generations)

  • @TheCoon389 -the verse- revelation 29 "i am alpha and omega. the beginning and the end. i will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the waters of life, freely

  • No. 111 Model 40 is the first Red Ryder to be sold and was made in1940. Even banged up and rusty it's still worth a few hundred bucks.

  • lololololol lever

  • @ draggydrugs yes, they're at walmart or any store that sales bb guns. 4.5mm is thesize of the bb for this gun. There are copper bbs and steel bbs

  • that is beautiful!

  • All the people commenting about loading it... have they never seen A Christmas Story?

  • Suggestions wtf

    Fuck you

  • are 4.5mm bb's still produced?

  • how do u load this gun

  • @crapcrap342 watch my other video

  • Thx, figured it out. It's SOOO old, you must unscrew a portion of the barrel to muzzel load it.

  • I have 1 passed down from a deceased uncle. How the F#@* do you load it? There's nowhere to load it!!!!

  • @heartlessangel7 check my other video

  • @heartlessangel7 look at the top by the barrel and there should be a slot open the at slot and you put bbs in there

  • what kind of bbs does it take

  • @gunsnr0ses15 reg .177

  • i have the same thing from the 1940

  • I have the same model and pretty much looks the same except for no leather and the butt is a little warped, was also owned by my grandpa/dad. Still works too. Hard to figure out what there worth though. Like any old gun, don't try to clean it with steal wool or anything. it will loose value. just oil it up once in a while and keep it in a dry place. And of course.. don't shoot your eye out.

  • I have the model 10 which is similar, and u can still get the red ryders brand new even today

  • You should keep it just the way it is and give it to ur first son

  • Clean it up stain the wood repaint the cocking lever or sand silver & keep her in the family pass it on to your kids :-)

  • Wow, I have this exact same gun, got it from my dad. I recently sent a form to Daisey to find the exact age of the gun, I know it was made between 1939 to 1942, or 1945 to 1950 due to information I could find. I don't have the leather on mine, but it is very well kept.

  • I have had this same RR since 1980. I have rencently passed it to my son.

My markings are the same as yours, a bit less rust on mine. I am sending a letter to DaisyMuseum for additional information, the dates are between 1939-1943 then 1945-1952 for this. In 1952 they started putting on Reg #s

  • @1LilStinker ok cool, thanks for the information

  • @1LilStinker What do you mean "Reg #s" ?? I'm not sure what you mean..

  • how much is a good model 1938B worth

oh yea umm i have one that says 1894 so send me a price for both if u can

  • @imurboss4 im not really sure, but the one i have is worth anywhere from 100 to a couple of hundred of dollars depending on condition etc.

  • how much is a good model 1938B worth

  • Yeah these Red Ryders are so nostalgic. They were made when boys were allowed more responsibility. It was either a bb gun or a slingshot when we headed out to the hills.

The new Daisy Red Ryder has the really gay loading gate on the side of the barrel. I love these no. 111 model 40 where the bb magazine is loaded at the muzzle. We can all guess why they later moved it to the side.

jmey107, that is a real nice one, hold on to it and give it to your kid one day for Christmas.

  • I have my fathers Number 111 model 40. Still shoots too. Yours is in slightly better condition. If it fires, it's worth $100-200

  • @electronicdude ok cool thanks. I dont think I will sell it because i dont think its worth it and its a really awesome rifle :)

  • is the barrel is rifled?

  • @outdoorsman310 I believe so

  • are you by any chance , selling it?

  • @Blackaribal When I made this video I did not have the intention to, but if you are interested send me a message and I'll have to see.

  • yeah, I tried that, its not working,

  • @EpicFailure47 Then I am not sure, I think you will just have to load the gun by putting each bb down the barrel.

  • Hey, do you know how to load this model? cause I cant find out how

  • @EpicFailure47 Look at the picture at 2:23. What you do is turn the nozzle to the side and but the bbs in the small barrel under the main barrel. If this is confusing let me knoe and I can send you a video on how to do it.

  • @jmey107 Counter clockwide a quarter turn, pour BBs into the tunnel & close.
