@TotallyAwesomness The kit in this video is a Fame. about a year ago I upgraded to a Tama superstar custom hyperdrive, which is in my more recent drum videos. Thank you for your support!
@Gretchluver1 I didn't know they made Crash/Rides in a "decent" variety; or are you just defending your Planet Z's?
There is the odd one which makes a "decent" Jazz ride but "decent" doesn't cut the cake in most cases unless you're on a budget in which case it's only barely excusable (An extra $80 will net you a crash and ride pack instead)
And I have no desire to learn how to play an obsolete cymbal. If I want a crash, I'll use a crash. If I want a ride, I'll use a ride, thank you very much
@Seffyr With regards to beginners crash rides the Planet Z ones are the more bearable, but thankfully I have a Bosphorus crash ride which works well as a medium crash and as a second ride (not a main ride of course, although Elvin Jones did just fine with one). Also I want to clarify that I'm not insisting on you playing crash rides only. Why would I do that? I was just making a reactionary misinformed comeback to a reactionary misinformed comment.
@Gretchluver1 N.B. The "one" with regards to Elvin was referring to a crash ride. Obviously. Also could you elaborate on "obsolete"? Do you mean a brand or model of cymbal no longer in production or a cymbal that no longer physically exists?
@Gretchluver1 Ew really? You like Planet Z C/R's? I can't stand them. I've tried the new series and some of the vintage ones (The ones that didn't have stamped dimples) and didn't like either; although admittedly I liked the older style better. Twas darker. And I mean "obsolete" as in C/R's are only in beginner lines. If you want something that functions as both in higher up lines you have to get a thin - medium 18" ride.
PS: In hindsight my reply sounded offensive. Bad day. Sorry. =)
@Seffyr Ah I see. Thinking about it that Planet Z c/r was probably the only one of those in existence to sound good. Sorry for the attitude earlier on. =)
@flipmash Just keep in mind that you cannot use a ride as a crash, well you can but it wont last long from my experience! If you want a crash ride just get a high quality one. or just get a ride and a crash separately . The choice is yours! :)
@bobandroger I was more enthused with the review than paying attention to the direction of the logos. Please don't call names on people you don't know. That's not a good way to make friends.
@bnl11052k10 I play in a contemporary worship band, and it's really in the air. If you have large, packed venues of, say, 500 upwards, I'd say go for something brilliant. Bright cymbals cut amazingly through amped instruments.
Smaller venues? Go darker.
Really, though? Experiment. Best way is to find out yourself. Borrow some cymbals from someone and see how the rest of the band like them.
well im not going to judge this cymbals with this video but.. if they sound like this in the real life i prefer AA's or AAx... and from zildjian.. just the K custom and K hybrid...
@Legendkiller48553 ok XD in that case zbts are better then aax......... the only thing worth buying from sabian is there hhx evolution crashes and the holy china. It mite work for you but i just dont like there direction of cymbal sounds. I dont like to judge ether but that was a vaaaarrryyy ignorant comment.
@buzzy99group@buzzy99group Its A Custom 20'' Medium ride and on its own will set you back around 280 - 350 dollars, its much cheaper to buy the package u'll save more money that way.

@gomarz21 Its a soundproofing product called ''audimute'' search for them on YouTube if u wanna check em out! I made a video about the soundproof so check that out too! ;)
@MakinFilmsMakinMusic Really comes down to ur own personal opinion. decide which sound u like better and go with that. you should be able to hear samples of both cymbals on YouTube.
@MakinFilmsMakinMusic the Projection Crash is higher pitch than the standard Crash. For me, i can't decide which is better because i love both of them!

Hey man quick question.... I've been looking into both A custom cymbals and Sabian AAX cymbals and I was just wondering which do you think is better for crashes, rides, chinas, etc... Please and Thanks!
