I agree with everyone on here that the shows on Nickelodeon aren't the same anymore. Unforunately we won't see the likes of this ever again. I guess we should be thankful that they have the memories, we remember as kids, on here for us to watch and remanesse of all the good times the shows showed us as kids. maybe one day we could go back to these day's but for now lets be thankful for what we got now and that's Youtube and those willing to upload these memories

@WFCM18 yes, but our childrens future?? i was born in 1991, i grown up with nickelodeon and nowadays children consume rubishh for ex: in argentina, my country, they used to see phornography and dislike these kind of porgrammes, because they get us worried :S poor television!! 10 years ago we had good TV but a person named Marcelo Tinelli, the main leader of a funny porgramme, changed the meaning of the word "funny" with sex and other things... :(

I was recently educated on this myself. These were tones to let local cable companies know they could run local commercials at this point in the commercial break.

I grew up listening to those tones without knowing what they were, but hearing them again brings back my youth like nothing else can.

That's a cue tone, and yes, it is made out of phone dial tones. They were common on basic cable channels during the 80's as a means of allowing local cable affiliates to automatically start rolling local advertisements.

There was never a better time to be a kid than being one in the 80's and early 90's. We had the best stuff. Kids today could only wish they had it as good.
