IF ANYONE SAYS THIS IS FROM COPENHAGEN AGAIN I WILL GO CRAZY
the video is indeed from copenhagen but the music is from london !
because the maker of this video just used the video from copenhagen just to make it more intresting to watch .what do you want " picture aftre picture " or a video well here is the video from copenhagen with the audio from deep purple live in london bbc 1972 !!!!!!
the copenhagen footage (DVD: In Concert 72 / 73), where these shots surely are from is only 8 days away from the London BBC Gig, where the audio is from, so this is quite fitting
I'd love to see you add in some footage that would makes it look even more realistic. Such as, when Blackmore is soloing, you could cut to him quicker instead of watching Gillan. Even though Ian is lookin good!!! :)
This is weeks before MH LP was released and months after the awsome made in Japan tour. It apeared first on in concert 70 -72. I have it on bootleg called Deep Purple live in London.
The soundtrack sounds like it's from the 2nd CD of the "Deep Purple in Concert" double CD. The 2nd CD is a recording of a live gig recorded at the BBC in 1972.
You are 100% correct , Deep Purple in concert 70 -72 and is weeks before MH LP was released as you can hear BBC announcer and months after the awsome made in Japan tour. I have it on bootleg called Deep Purple live in London and on to LP's Deep Purple in Concert.. On LP the studio edited out the announcer so all I have is the songs but not the commentary.
revelation.. god please turn back time..

Гениальные музыканты.
Ян Гилан-вокал, кто сможет его перепеть?
Ричи Блэкмор- соло/гитара: кто его переиграет?
Ян Пэйс-ударные.
Джон Лорд -органист

I hope YouTube will be available for future generations and this material well preserved on the tube for many generations.
Even if I don't have original footage it is close to the real thing and another great performance by the legendary Deep Purple.

It sounds different to "Made in Japan", because Jon Lord didn't use the "ring modulation" in the first months in 1972.
