  • I want to build bigger arms.

    I've been doing this a while.( 4 months )

    Day1: shoulder/abs 45min

    Day2: biceps/chest 60min

    Day 3: triceps/back 45-60min

    And starting over.. so thats 4days/week total. Theres 1 day break between every workout. I drink protein shakes everytime after workout.

    And i do 3 - 4 x 9 - 11 everytime, except abs.

    Please give me advice.. Is this good or bad?

  • @JonuMusic thats i dont think its really that good, visit the twinmuscleworkout channel and youll learn everything you need to learn, but you have to train muscles that work together such as

    Day 1--shoulders,chest, triceps

    Day 2--back, biceps(chinups, pullups)

    Day 3--legs

    Day 4--rest

    then repeat the cycle, this allows rest for the muscles to rebuild and this is what im doing for a few months and ive built some good muscle.

  • @JonuMusic Sounds good imo. I tend to work on a four day split [until after my squatting injury]. If you want bigger arms, then you'll want to bulk. Bulk reps in the 6-10 range with 2-3 sets per exercise.

    I would personally switch your chest/bi days with your shoulder/ab days just to allow for more resting period.

  • @JonuMusic Your muscles are growing out of the gym, not in it. So therefore diet is crucial. Train in the gym like a demon [no more than 45-50minutes & look up supersets really help] and eat like a beast [500+calories above your maintenance level]. (this is the second part) trust me, bulking works, you'll gain a little fat, but once you hit a certain point of size and strength you can shred down (maintenance-500). I bulked from 145lbs to 210bs in 2.5 years, then cut down to 190lbs in 2 months

  • @JonuMusic where's the leg training? legs are made up of huge muscles, when you train them your bodies natural response is to produce higher testosterone levels... which is what builds muscle NOT protein... so with higher testosterone levels = bigger biceps :)

  • U can't get that muscle from bands.

  • @ DJKSeph the bands give you more of a pump because the tension increases at the top of the curl whereas with the DBells the tension is at the bottom to about 90 degrees. Most of Taylor Lautner's workouts included bands while he was beefing up for New Moon.

  • @howcanibuildmuscle The pump has nothing to do with muscle building. You could include bands with free weights and definitely build some serious muscle but not just bands alone.

  • @Body23Builder if you do one exercise everyday your body will get used to it and will stop growing.. seeing as this is a muscle gain workout its pretty pointless to do it everyday.

  • @sir360 genetics usually what your dad has is what your gonna get 1mao but i doubt he has one right now for you to even see :) some ppl got 4, 6, or 8 packs just depending, what you got is whats there you can't grow more packs but you can make it more define and strong core

  • @FREDsucksDICKS incorrect, everyone has an 8pack, its all about having low bodyfat to define the 7th and 8th abdomen and doing specific exercises which targets the lower section more than the upper ones. some people only got a big ass 4 pack because of targeting the upper and middle section of the abdominals alot, eating big and using those machines @ the gym gives u that

  • @sp3ciaLL0n3 I'm an ectomorph, and I was always real skinny, but it didn't matter, I had a six pack, but a 4 pack is all that will show, I'll never have an 8 pack either. Just work your core and cut down on carbs.

  • @GenXUnderground K. I know what you mean, bragging sucks in any form. What I was saying is that skinny guys benefit from their abs showing and some might latch onto that, but they have a harder time gaining muscle mass than the people with a little bit of meat on their bones. So at the end of the day, it's hard to achieve your bodybuilding goals either way (ectomorph or endomorph). I'd rather start as an endomorph, but the grass is always greener on the other side I guess :P

  • @Kingdyabu Actually, you'd be surprised, you can get pretty dang ripped off of just chin-ups, sit-ups, push-ups and pull-ups, its hard and takes a great deal of effort, but it's possible.

  • @krater97 If it's muscle, not fat then yeah bigger should be stronger, it also depends on an individuals insertion points where the muscle connects to bone for leverage, that's why some people with smaller muscles can lift, pull or push more than others with larger muscles. But that's genetics. As for punching, you use triceps to punch not biceps. You also need a strong core because the strength of the punch should come from twisting the whole body.

  • @krater97 U need speed as well I do MMA. Look at a rock it weighs very little yet you throw it at someone the damage it can do or look at a bullet it weighs nothing yet can go through anyone. Speed is what kills and to much of a big bicep your punches will be slow. Gotta find that balance watch Mike Tyson old films he had killer biceps and wicked speed!

  • @BrandonCarterTV roids do not shrink your dick, they shrink your testicles because steroids give the body a hormone called testosterone and when the body realizes that it is getting it from somewhere else the testicles stop producing it kind of like taking a break therefore they shrink temporally, also if your talking about how small the packages look on body builders i think its fair to say than 4n inch is an average size for a flacid penis of course it will look small nect to huge quads
