I'm having problems with mine as well. I had it set to the light being at its highest output and the laser on at the same time (no strobe). Put it in storage for a couple months and tested it to make sure the battery hadn't been drained. Only to find that it turned on in strobe mode for some reason. I said whatever, set it back to my preferred mode and stored it away again. Tested it again today and had the same problem except now it's stuck in strobe mode.
I have the Viridian laser on my SR9 and it fits a little loose on the rail.. Only the rail pin holds it in place. I've had it about a year and fired about 5 rounds with it on the gun. Just took it out yesterday and the battery was dead. Replaced it and the light comes on when you press the button then off when you release it.. After you do this 6-7 times it finally stays on. I think it only has a year warranty.
Don't think the dog is all that safe. If you accidently shine laser in eyes, can cause serious damage. I'd never point a gun at one of my pets, just a bad safety practice.
Yo good looks on the video, I just ordered it for my Beretta px4 Storm Subcomp and man i cant wait for it to get it. until then all ive got are these videos. Keep them coming.
I've got the XD-M and this was a good video showing the gun/laser combination...but just wanted to add that was a good looking blue pitbull. I have two myself and they are the best dog in the world. I bought the gun for protection, but good luck to anyone that tries to break into my house. If you're ballsy, you might get a t.v., but you are leaving an arm or a leg behind.
Nope not yet when i told them what happened they were kinda shocked like it was the first tume this had happened they even said they mite keep it to do studies on what went wrong
My X5L broke 3 times and i have had to send it back. Michelle is very helpful though and has offered a complete refund for my purchase. I purchased mine directly from viridian tho so that may be why they are so helpful. Best of luck to you and i hope u get it fixed. would be a GREAT bit technology if it wasn't so fragile. Im replacing mine with a TLR-1s light and strobe because i honestly dont rely on a laser. It is helpful tho.
would like to say that this laser just randomly stoped working. it went into a light pulse and will not come out of pulse. I called viridian and left a message but needless to say I'm very disappointed.
Not to sure about that one but i can tell you that the button is bigger and positioned perfectly and once you put the laser on the gun its not comming off unless you use a tool its not just a push lock so its very strong the best way to describe this laser is its the x5l but smaller same brightness and same laser just made smaller hope that helps
Do you know anything about the x5L laser? I like the look of it better on a Springfield but I hear the c5L has a longer life and button control is easier....
yes it takes the lithium. comes with the laser along with everything you will need to site it in and also a direction book that tells you what mode can save the battery life. thought that was pretty cool. pulse is the best for battery life.
I normaly just keep my gun in the case for more of a home protection with the lasr attached but if i needed to go somewhere and use it ill just take the laser off
Good video. I like the C5L but I only have one minor thing about it. Do u have a holster that would fit it and the gun together or do have another arrangement in using it (such as carrying it on the double mag pouch of the XDm and slipping it on when needed)? I'm getting one and I have yet to find a holster that would fit both my XDm .45 and the C5L.

Its not the smallest laser nor the longest gun so get your facts rite. And dont be mad that you cant afford either one
TxMade006 3 months ago
The smallest possible laser on the longest possible gun, quite ugly.
