  • LOL Thanks for the great story!

  • It is a beautiful silk scarf my daughter brought me from Bali.

  • A great story, from a great raconteur. I think you must have been a wonderful teacher. The best teachers always have wonderful stories to pass on, and far from being superfluous, they are a important part of what one learns. Now I work in the business world where my peers have studied business or computer science, etc. They seem rarely to have had teachers who had any stories, or even personalities. It's hard to explain to them what studying music was like -so I rarely try.

  • I am still teaching

  • my apologies then - your students are most fortunate

  • as am I, having their stimulus

  • Great story! Had me laughing all the way through.

But, I must say, once he got it past them the third time, they no longer deserved to have it returned.

  • such a good storyteller she is oh yes dear sister M

  • I can't decide if I think people were much bolder in those days or if it is just that I alienate myself from the madness these days?!?

    Interesting everything Margaret!

  • I sat in total fascination throughout this, Margaret. An amazing story.

This brings back a whole flood of memories.

?? Ever eat a burger on the corner of the entrance

    to chinatown?

  • what was I wearing?

  • Oww I can't even remember what I was wearing

it might have been Dress blues or Levis.
