This is one of my favorite movies of all time... But I do not know here to find it on DVD! This really needs a brilliant DVD.

and were can I buy the sound track?

You can at least find a re-released collection-type version from cdjapan (google "cdjapan detailview.html?KEY=BBBA-6894"­). About 50 euros plus shipping. You might find it cheaper somewhere, but the aforementioned store is known for having only official and properly licenced products. It's region 2 locked and should work fine in Europe too. No idea regarding the soundtrack, though.

this movie rally scared me. but i love it! i guess the fact or even though of being stuck in a world like that terrified me. i love anime and its extremley interesting and all but this gave me nightmares!! alter universes freak me out!XD

Very very dark, mysterious but interesting. But the little girl in the film was beautifully animated. Forgive me, but this film brings me discomfort. What does the see-through egg with an unhatched bird in it represent? And what happens if it ever hatches? Is the baby bird in that egg an evil being? Can anyone please tell me?

@sp151522 Not sure if there's a simple, practic answer to that. From what I understood, the whole object in space they're located on is some sort of a Noah's Arc, and the new beginning of the world is about to start. Anything more than that is a mystery to me. Deus ex machina theory is also obvious in the movie.

The bird? Hell, no idea.

this movie is all based on your own interpretation of the movie, it has a meaning but mostly in symbols like, white feathers, his weapon shaped like a cross, the noahs ark in the beginnin, so you can draw from that it has something all the lines to do wit christianity

Many people have speculated this film to be anti-religious, symbolizing false hope, denial, doubt, etc. It's amazing how far you can go with a movie like this.

definetly one of the best movies I've ever seen (anime or not), I got crazy, couldn't understand a lot of things, spend hours thinking about all the metaphores....and I loved it =) the whole religion vs man's alegory
