HSUS ties are to the Camorra is a criminal organization and secret society, originating in Naples in Italy. It is the oldest and largest criminal organizations in Italy, it was started in 18th century. Al Capone was from Brooklyn & his parents were from Castellammare di stabia, this Chicago mob crew is with the HSUS. Two of New York families are in with them also, and money still goes back to Naples, this is part of the NWO.
People fail to realize that for several individuals, responsibly raising purbred dogs is the livelyhood for many and they love what they do. For some disabled individuals who cannot handle a 9 to 5 job--this is their life and their only source of income. It is actually more labor intensive than a 9-5 job--and many never take vacations for themselves--they are with their animals 24-7 day in and day out. It is a passion for them. Radicals so engulfed in the puppymill propoganda fail to see this.
@KnowledgeisPower2011 The issue is not why or who, but how, so the point of a breeder being disabled or loving breeding is irrelevant. And being pro basic protections for puppy mill dogs is simply not radical b/c you say so; fighting against basic care legislation is. "Passion" btw requires high standards, operating on a small, careful, controlled scale while providing loving treatment and excellent physical care - - not running a filthy factory that emotionally and physically harms dogs.
More food for thought--have read that 82% of the funding BACKING THIS BILL (Prop B) is coming OUTSIDE the State of Missouri. Obviously, Intelligent Missourians would not be funding something this deceptive! "SHOW ME" NO BS!
Proposition B will NOT stop Puppy Mills (unlicensed kennels) hoarders or irresponsible pet owners
Proposition B will destroy legal professional breeders and start chipping away at Missouri Agriculture. Your safe food supply. Missouri is an Agriculture State. #2 in Beef production. Top 10 producer in dairy foods, pork production, chicken and turkey. HSUS will eliminate all pets, hunting, fishing, horse back riding and animal ownership. Don't think it will happen? Do you really want to chance it?
Compared to the current requirements Prop B lowers the current minimum temperature from 50 degrees F to 45 degrees F. That is colder.
Current feeding requirement is twice a day, Prop B lowers that to once a day.
Prop B changes the current standard about cleaning to just once a day. Why aren't the reporters comparing the actual current law to the changes Prop B will make?
Prop B changes are worse than the current law. That makes no sense.
HSUS is good at using emotional propaganda to get control of what they want-without consideration for the little folk who are busting their butts behind the scene. They have NO CONCEPT of what responsible breeders go through on a daily basis & what it takes to maintain a kennel--but yet they sit in their high dollar offices and make up a complex set of rules and regulations that support no one and fixes no problem. Resp. breeders get punished with more work, rules, expense and HSUS get control.
@JJJJview07 You ask, "Why are rescue groups and animal shelters not held to the same standard?" Prop b focuses on a specific industry. It does NOT mean that the rest of the world is given a nod to poor or abusive care. So, thanks to your poor logic, you want to use your vote to protect crummy puppy mill treatment. And who gives a hoot if the HSUS us behind it or not. The HSUS is not Hitler or Timothy McVeigh - - it is the HUMANE society, an org for HUMANE treatment.

It is bad to change the law and make it worse.
Go to Missouri Vet Association website. They have the comparision in black and white. Go read it and learn the truth.
HSUS and the media won't tell you about those points.

HSUS is behind Proposition B
If this is an effort to save puppies from bad conditions, why are rescue groups and animal shelter exempt?
Why are rescue groups and animal shelters not held to the same standard?
That's just not right.
I am voting No on Proposition B!
