spectacular job :) great countdown, loved it completely,i can tell you put alot of work into this. only one thing i notived i didnt like..no Conway Twitty? </3 great video tho :)
@gasolinman I had that song on my initial list. But the more I dwindled the list down the closer it got to not making it and eventually had to kick it off the list. Sorry bout that though. Thanks for stopping by.
Nice list, love 'em all, still i miss something of John Denver, Conway Twitty, Frankie Laine, Loretta Lynn, Lynn Anderson, Kris Kristofferson, but damn' there are so many great artists that made so damn'many great songs! And i think Jambalaya should be in there as well... But hey, i understand it's difficult ;)
@Werner170 Yes it is very difficult, lol. I actually had most of those names on my list when I first started out. After dwindling the list down some, some of the older classic singers got cut in my attempt to include songs from numerous decades so it wouldn't end up being just an 'oldies' list. But I do enjoy those that you listed. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. :)
personally i wouldve liked to see a few more female artists on the list but that is just me. i pretty much liked everything except one thing. i know he was popular as ever but i cannot stand garth brookes. other then friends in low places i cannot tolerate the man.
@Luke73470 Thanks for stopping by. Yeah not many females made my top 25, but there are a few more in the 50-26 list. I don't particularly like Garth myself, but I couldn't not include his songs just because how I feel about him personally. His songs are still great no matter what. I myself didn't see 'Friends In Low Places' as a top 50 song. Sure it was popular but just not top50 material in my opinion. Thanks again for stopping by.
@RonMitchellJr LMFAO! No way I was gonna make a list and that not be the number 1 song. Hell I put that at 1 when I first started shuffling the songs around and it stayed at 1 the whole time. That and RCG are my two favorite songs so had to show them some love. Thanks for stoppin by man.
But these rose colored glasses. That I'm lookin' through. Show only the beauty. Cause they hide, all the truth! THANK GOD John Conlee was on there! One of my all time favorite country music artists! :)
@boxertxs One of my favorite songs, but the more I dwindled down the list the farther that song fell. At least you know my list isn't biased, lol. But yes, a truly great song, sorry it didn't make it. Thanks for stopping by.
@bnschamp Yes, one of my favorite country songs by Conlee. I also like Conway Twitty, I had two of his songs when I started my list, but as I dwindled the list down they just didn't make the cut, sorry, :( Glad you enjoyed and thanks for the comments.
@2142543 You're Cheatin' Heart has never struck me as a top 5 country song, though I do agree it's one of the greatest. Cash is probably my favorite country singer but even I don't think those two songs of his deserve to be 2 and 3. So according to what you say 'He stopped loving her today' wouldn't even be in your top 3? Hard to agree with that, but I appreciate your thoughts, thanks for stopping by.
@ennylekalb Merle fan huh? Me too, I've got 2 Merle songs in the top 25, 3 all together if you include Pancho & Lefty with Willie Nelson on the 50-26 vid. I enjoy Silver Wings and actually had Mama Tried on the initial list but it didn't make the cut. Thanks for stopping by.
While I agree with most of these songs, I think you have Johnny's songs and Reba's too high. There's a few in here that don't belong but over all it's alright. Majority of the top 10 is on point, besides the Johnny songs. They belong but not as high as you have them.
@kuntryed72 Maybe I have Johnny's songs too close together, but imo they definitely belong up towards the top. Majority of his songs are classics, and I think 'I walk the line' was his best and one of the best ever. As far as Reba goes, in my tidbits under the vid I explain that that song was the hardest for me to rank, have no idea why. Thanks for stopping by and for the comment.
@JEREMYSHUGHES i agree those 3 sngs belong, just not that high on the list, and your #3 and #2 weren't even billbored #1's, those are good songs i woulda just rearanged them different though
He stopped loving her today is truely an amazing song <3 !

Jeremy, I was going to find you and kick your ass if the #1 Country song of all time wasn't, "He Stopped Loving Her Today". :D
Great pick, my friend!
And "Rose Colored Glasses" at #2! I didn't see that one coming but I won't argue with the choice.
