No, I didn't experience the white residue from the Cantu since I only used a little bit on my ends only. I didn't use it purposely as my leave-in prior to applying gel. I made my own leave-in spray using the Trader Joe's to put in prior to applying the gel.

I loved your results. How do you prevent Ecostyler gel leaving a white residue in your hair? I may be a little heavy handed but it seems as if I always get residue.

I don't know if u got 2 my conditioner only method vid yet, but that's how I achieve my curl def now, using conditioner only. Only time I use gel now is if I need to slick edges or get extra definition in my 4b area, the hair in front & above my ears. The gel I've been using lately for my edges & 4b hair is the EcoStyler "BROWN" gel and the brown gel leaves no white residue whatsoever. Try that one and see how u make out, and it's $1 cheaper than the clear gel but the same "10" hold strength.

Girl that sounds great, but i gotta look at that conditioner cause that is cheap to be all natural/organic. But if it is, i will def be buying that (lol)!! There are a fews Trader Joes in Atlanta and i will be going today. I am going to try to make a version of your mix. Your hair is beautiful! I need the curl def. KCCC is hard for me to master, but great for slicking and bringing out my waves. Good vid!

There are 2 unnatural ingredients but they're the last on the list... Parabens. Some people are against using products with parabens cuz they've heard unhealthy things about them but have not been scientifically proven. The reason why I didn't stop using the conditioner after reading about parabens cuz I read the ingredients on many other products I use, like my Bath & Body Works, and found most of them have parabens and I've been using for years and years, and I'm fine & healthy.

Man I totally screwed up THAT last post! What I meant to say was:

2.99 for a natural conditioner? Wish I had a Trader Joe's. I don't think anything in all of Whole Foods is 2.99. Your hair looks great, are you letting the color grow out? Do you feel a big difference in texture in the streaked hair from the natural. My hair is SO fragile, holds the water for hours too, and it's not streaked.

Aren't the cheap gels the best! :-)

Trader Joe's, best "All Natural" conditioner, & 4 the price, WOW! Wanted 2 c if I cld use it as a daily moisturizer by adding Olive oil, Coconut oil & Avocado oil & works like magic! Put on dry hair & it left my hair unbelievably soft & softness lasted all day. Cheap gels r the best! I am letting my color grow out. Colored ends use to be very dry but since treating my hair more & trimmed splits, they're much better. There is a difference in the natural & color texture but both. Thx 4 the luv.

Wow,I think I like this better than the Kinky Curly results, although that turned out pretty as well. I love this gel for slicking back my hair into buns...I may have to try this. Thanks for the video.

I think I like this method better than KCCC too but KCCC still has its benefits & uses, not giving up on it just yet. I like the "cheap" way better cause I think I do get more elongation... Thanks for the comments.

I almost bought the Trader Joe's shampoo and cond...think I will pick it up. Heard some good things about it. Your hair looks good. Good way to save your KCCC for those special occasions instead of everyday.
