I believe this viewfinder was originally used to watch films directly. Thus it has a convex lens for you to look through so you don't feel your eye is so close to the film.
@Heyjijdaar81 I will briefly translate it. So, the materials you will need is a slide or film viewer (he uses one with a x5 magnification) and a wire covering of some sort. He attached those two so it would fit snugly on to the LCD. He says with the viewfinder, the manual focus is much easier than before.

may i ask two questions, if you can read english.
1. Where can i get the multi-viewer? How much is it?
2. Is it really suit the screen of nex, as I can only see a circular hole on the multi-viewer.

@Heyjijdaar81 I don't understand this, but i can tell what hes trying to say.
First, get a Multi-Viewer lens. Then get some kind of #166 PVC pipe thing.
Finally, attatch the lens and there you go.
I didn't try this yet tho
