It was an interesting way to keep the player playing the game. Not all the moves were in the command list, you had to discover them. I remember playing the hell out of this game and making notes on paper of the new moves I discovered. Bruce was my favorite

throw combo's are cheats.

the point is that you cannot escape these combo's

even though you can be a very good martial artist,

if you don't know what the escape buttons are and there is this bet on what the next throw in the combo is,

eg. throw 1-> throw 5 { esc.=up,down,squire after 1.0 sec.}or throw 6 {esc.=down,down triangle after 1.2 sec. } it makes the fight very unrelaxing, in fact I don't even try to escape in a battle if it happens, just dodge it or lose.

This combos are secret because they aren't in the command list, I think they started to appear in the command list in Tag tournament or 4 I don't remember.

These moves are not secret...well at least Paul's is. the same would apply to the low kick combo Lei has (LK, LK---RK)

get a psx emulator search on google after tha u download tekken 2 for psx play it befor u do that u go again to google download a save file for psx tekken 2 all characters unlocked something like that and there you go

ohh one more thing u gonna need the U-Torrent program to download much better and safer u just click on the sign showing down near the plus (+) and open The emulator or Tekken 2 with Open with U-torrent easy stuff , depends on seeds also if there are many seeds download comes faster , or just download it at rapid-share easier

i used to b a tekken 2 lengend. i bought the book and mastered king.. back in 95 ... but i think i still remember how to do the oct . hold .... its king's low leg sweep connect all 5 times, but during the last kick push x/ o / tri /square quickly ! in other words all 4 buttons counter clock wise. let me know if it works..

the trick is this...u use the "ultimate tackle" xD then input this comand!! 2,d+1,1, [this last part is realy fast] 4,1,1+2 that's with paul xD

There's nothing 'secret' about that stuff. I used to be able to do it all, years ago. King had the most, then Nina.

That long, 5-step combo with King could also be finished another way, with King picking up the opponent, putting him on his shoulders, jumping up in the air, and smashing him on the ground (I can't remember what it's called).

And the best move by King involved this weird and crazy roll that he would do on the floor after locking the opponent's arms and legs.
