Follow the guide, install the game, download the very latest updates, download the latest crack and revemu (lets you bypass steam). Everything is provided on the guide.

Now go to EPC's main page, click l4d servers (or l4d2 if you're doing this for l4d2), find a server you like, copy its IP address.

Run the game, press ~ to open the console, type "connect (paste IP address here)"

Example:

~ (open console)

type in: "connect 255.255.255:27015"

Its random, and its always 2 hunters, 1 boomer, and 1 smoker, so if theres already 2 hunters in play, you will come back as either the smoker or boomer.

there are no viruses. Everything today is assumed to be a virus. anything a virus scan cant identify, its going to think its a virus. If you use anything thats pirate related, its not going to know what it is, its gonna think its a virus.

There are no viruses in the torrent or on any of the EPC patches.

If you dont believe me, then dont download it. Even though tens of thousands of people have already downloaded and installed it, I guess they all have viruses now eh?

Whats wrong with my console? i want to connect the server but i cant , becauze my console deosnt open with ~ button. What i have to do ?

add -console to the end of the l4d shortcut.

Right click on the shortcut, (if you dont have a shortcut, make one) click properties then go to the target path and write -console on the end of it.

Example: "C:\Left 4 Dead\left4dead.exe" -console

yea, thnks for that jus one more question. I did all the stuff on the guid on epc or w\e and whenever I open it it's like, This application has failed to start because binkw32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. o-o

We're you able to run the game before you updated it with the epc cracks? If so, something may have corrupted that .dll file.

If not you may be trying to play with a dated video card.

If your card's new, you may have to reinstall the game, but before you do that, try applying each patch one at a time 1.1->1.2->1.3 instead of just the one 1.0->1.3 patch.

Try updating your video drivers.

Also try to copy the .dll from your system folder then putting it in the game's folder.

binkw32.dll errors happen alot with pirated games, if all else fails try to google "binkw32.dll error left 4 dead" and see if anyone else has had the problem and found a solution.

There's quite a few private servers running 24/7 now, just use epcgaming to find one, it shows if its online, how many players are in it, and what game mode its playing and it updates every couple of minutes. I never have trouble finding a pvt server. Also all the pvt servers are latest version.
