Any computer can do raytracing... that includes the Xbox 360. It's just that nobody's bothered to, yet. :P

Halo 3 used raytracing I think... But only for reflections in cutscenes.

gdc 2008 is gonna demonstrate true evolution of gaming especially geomerics radiosity and intel's daniel pohl ray tracing. im excited for both.

I've been waiting for three GDCs and still no final product,
Plus I would love to see how this holds up using procedural tools like SPEED TREE.

We're saving our larger stuff for GDC. This video is just to demonstrate the ease of using the dynamic radiosity to an artist's advantage.
yes, and more dynamic objects, for example opening and closing doors - like a game would have...
