It's not a matter of being right or wrong. millions upon millions of people are trend following idiots who assume that because something is on TV it qualifies as being "good". It's on TV because shit on TV sells, and it's apparrent that people who like buzz ballads don't know how to find better music from other sources.

Well I think this music has sucked since I first heard it on the radio in the 90's and it wasn't until I listened to older music that I was inspired to learn an instrument.
