False... Corso was the chosen from the beginning! Balkan was just the devils lure or toy to get Corso. So be careful to deal with the devil... :-) The more you get frantic the more he ignores you.
@picknick21 Just finished watching it. I never understood the significance of the womans face morphing during sex until after watching it this time (this was like my 8th time watching this movie) doesn't that correlate to the hydra and it's many heads? Possibly making her a hydra?
@zombiemouse Others seem to think that as well. I like to think of her as some sort of witch. Not sure what kind tho ^^ I find it interesting that Balkan talks about the word "witch" when we first see her. She works for Lucifer and guides suitable candidates to pass trough the ninth gate. Perhaps she passed trough the ninth gate herself at some point in her life?
