As someone orphaned the year this show came out (with my 18 year-old sister becoming guardian), and being just a bit younger than the Neve Campbell character, I can not tell you home much I loathed this show. People associated my situation with a stupid Hollywood TV show rather than the bleak reality it was. And no, my parents' deaths were not as fast and convenient as a drunk-driver story line. As a 30 year-old, I'm still bitter enough to rant on YouTube.

If you're talking about reality shows...yeah, they're PURE CRAP, but I think quality of other shows has really improved, shows really now put the effort to keep you interested every week. Surreal plots? Yes, but hooks you in (Glee, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Lost, 24, Dr. House)

Quick question: Does anyone remember this old show that was on FOX about a family. it's not party of five but it was another show and in one of the episodes a guy says "i want to kiss" you and there is a girl who says "so what's stopping you?" I can't seem to remember the name of the title of that old fox show but I know it wasn't party of five.

There is a very haunting, high pitched sound, possibly created by playing a hand saw (as an instrument of course) right when Neve rubs the steam off the mirror. Kind of hard to hear. Its very audible on the DVD.
