Every time I'm visiting my family in San Jose, I always come up here through Quimby road. It's an absolutely beautiful place.
The lake is my favorite walking trail to date. I can literally just sit in the lower lake site for hours because of how wonderfully serene it is. *Though I've been hesitant about returning to that spot ever since my run in with a white and red snake, heh.*
But honestly, thank you for posting this, it's good that others can see how beautiful Mt. Hamilton is.
people ride their bikes up there at times i know , but woah - walking seems long. few cars , so no mega traffic - but it's tight in some areas. have a good heart if you trek it ya know? it's long - but once you get there it's so beautiful. send us all pics! hugs happy trails!
You have such an eye, Vatsek! Beautiful visionary. To answer your earlier question, it took me a couple of hours to edit my montage. Hard to believe sometimes how many characters I've played over the months. Take care, my friend.
There's a documentary/travel show feel to this--in a good way. Only thing missing is the voiceover to tell us how to feel about the music and view combined.
Perhaps the piece is one of satisfaction, wonder, anticipation, curiosity after pondering the universe around an observatory and the grandeur of surrounding nature--turning into somber reality upon heading back to a more populated area. The trip ends as does the "open mind."
Thanks a lot. I'm not sure about the tree, looks pretty old, maybe it is an olive tree. About my video description, I hope people don't start to think they are about to watch an opera!

can a person walk or hike to the top
bradshaweric 2 years ago
Yes, but it is about 15 miles by car. I never tried to hike, although it would be quite interesting.

Nice video!!! I'm looking forward to buy a camera soon but can't decide which one. What kind of camera do you have? Full name?
carljohnson25 3 years ago
There are lots of good cameras out there. It all depends how much you want to spend. Canon or Sony, you can't go wrong.

Ahh, the Diablo Range. Are you refering the music to the distinction between the irony of the name and the peaceful dwellings of nature?

Something along those lines.

There it is--what struck me when viewing. :-)

Your videos are always worthy to be watched, Vatsek!
Yes, I can actually hear the snow! :O
Maybe I'm wrong... but it seems to me that the tree on the left at 1:40 is an olive one!
The nature footage and the Observatory's one make a nice contrast!
Your music is always nice!
Oh. The description of this video is, as always, really worthy to be read as well! :-)
5*
