There is only one useful thing I get from Faenal 50 free archery skill points, after that he dies >:).

I had Faendal as companion, but he died. Now i'm looking for new archer companion, any leads?

@andybirger Aela, from The companions (werewolf) quest in Whiterun, or another one at the Drunken Huntsman a Dark Elf mercenry (500 gold to get her) archer as well, they might not use the weapon but they are specializaed in those areas, so just give them something good.

Damn, I sold him out for Sven at the start of the game. I think I'll try getting to level 50 then killing him in his sleep to get what's mine.

You don't have to talk to Faendal and get his forged letter after you get .Svens.

You can just go straight to Camilla and tell her the thruth - that Sven gave you that letter in order to ruin Faendals chances.

The way you stay honest and the result is the same - Camilla gets mad at Sven and Faendal is so grateful he will be your new best friend and go adventuring with you.
