Well, I'm not English nor do I live in English-speaking country, I am 16 and have been learning English for about 11 years now(which most of the time was 2 lessons a week, each lasting one hour, excluding holidays) which after all is not that much and I don't find it difficult to understand him(most of the time that is). I guess it just depends on the person;).
