  • pshh...i can do that

    SIKE XD lol

    Bravo Josh :)

  • God damn I love that middle section. I wish I could coerce my fingers into doing it properly

  • @schumacherenator The main part of that middle section is a strong thumb. Once you accomplished that, 2nd finger trills will be much easier. My private teacher gave me advice on to practice it. I was told to do the section first with trills only, and move on to other notes after. Very very helpful advice for me.

  • This song is the better of all popper etudes and is beutifoul and relaxing

    = )

  • Jesus Christ... I can't even get past the first few measures!

  • @Iamcartmanxd AMEN!

  • @Iamcartmanxd same here

  • To anyone who says that the intonation should have been better, HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO PLAY THIS ETUDE??? This is (at least in my opinion) one of the hardest Popper etudes in the book! Congrats on giving such a fabulous performance and I hope to hear more of you in the future!

  • @pbyshelley you know he can, that's lynn harrell!

  • My point ! Why only two weeks preparation? I would love to hear Joshua play it at his FULL potential, which IS TOTALLY AMAZING, not just after only a short time... I think there is too much stuff on Youtube that is not good high quality, that's all...

  • intonation should be better...

  • @strad1944 I'd like to see you play this etude more in tune. Especially with only two weeks' preparation.

  • THis guy should dress up like a mad scientist and play Electric Cello with psychadelic effects.

  • Well done!

  • those fluttery little trills are so cute

  • I love your technique! I love how your notes flow together.

I read in your bio that you play jazz. Could you put up some jazz videos?

  • meh. sure.

  • Very good.

  • Great playing, relaxed, fluid and very musical! Congratulations!

  • Just very very good, a real pleasure to rediscover these fabulous cello pages so nicely played, many thanks !

  • a few intonation problems, but still incredible. especially for only one week!
